Having some hot pirates as otome game will always interesting.
And I love how you built the MC characterics. Looks powerful and dependable, not a cry-baby type. ^^
Aand, the sprites looking good, the background is very beautiful! I love it!

Heheh thanks... This whole project is kinda built on trying to make a non-orthodox otome MC (definitely not the first around though xD). Sometimes we feel like she might get too mean, so we'll try to balance it so that she'll be evil, but in a likeable way



Another update - Title Menu WIP~


Question;
I'm trying to add some simple animations - perhaps shine/sparkle on those shinies Jack has gathered, lens flare xD, or movement of water reflection (gave up on the idea to make waves lol)...
Any artist/animator out there willing to give me some advice on which one(s) is/are more practical or easy to achieve?

Wow, the title menu looks so pretty. ^_^ Can't wait to see it in colour.
I use the animation in photoshop, but don't listen to me becuase I suck at animating. I guess flash works, but seriously. Don't. Listen. To. Me.

Thanks I wasn't able to get much advice or found much tutorials on animation... So I decided to leave it static

Updated the main post with the coloured title CG! Hope everyone like it, but comments and critics welcomed!

I feel bad for not updating much... So I'll end today's post with a *very* rough WIP of the textbox... Credits to Aro's suggestion (I was lazy and intended to use plain textbox/GUI but got kicked to actually do some work lol)

is it her as a mermaid?? I love the textbox, it sits with the theme, like its been written on the back of a treasure map.

No... But that reminds me, I should probably do a CG of her as a mermaid, swimming with the merbird besides her :3
But no no, I should focus not blow up the game any further. Capping the CG count at 9 xD

That's the idea of the textbox... Treasure map! We're trying to get the icons to be pirate-y too... *Should probably get back to work and stop skiving*

Once the rest of the CGs are coloured, we could post some teaser video clips! Hurray~

Also thinking of including voice acting - anyone think it's a bad idea? XD
