Re: Witch Apprentice (Oct 31st update: Demo up on page 3)
Downloaded and played through the demo almost a year ago; was looking forward to the promised release. Have read through all eight pages of this thread, and it would seem that this is one more effort that started out with great promise, but slowly withered away. The last post from the creator was over six months ago. Too bad; guess I am from a much different generation, to us, starting something and not finishing it was unacceptable!

Sometimes projects don't work out, for whatever reason. There's really no need for snide remarks like that.philip wrote:Too bad; guess I am from a much different generation, to us, starting something and not finishing it was unacceptable!

I don't think philip was necessarily trying to be snide, but rather just expressing some disappointment of a very nice looking game not being completed. Heck, I think there's an entire thread somewhere just about people talking about projects that stopped in the WIP stages...Sheridan wrote:Sometimes projects don't work out, for whatever reason. Anyway, I would hope that the creator(s) pick this title up again in the future or another project. I haven't played the demo yet (I'll put it on my list of demos to play this weekend...I have four I already downloaded). The art and UI is lovely.

Thanks, Green Glasses Girl! I was indeed expressing disappointment (and a little frustration) at the thought of not seeing the completion of a very engaging, eye pleasing, and well done story. Hopefully, Razz has been following this thread and will stop by to give us an encouraging update.

It did come out sounding rather snide. It'll be disappointing if this is left unfinished, but that's not a reason to imply that he or she is inadequate compared to the 'older' generations...
Anyway, I - along with everyone else on this thread - will keep my fingers crossed and hope for a finished version sometime in the future
