Re: Dizzy Hearts [GxG][M content] DEMO
Well I already sent you my .02 about possible issues... but aside from that, kudos for all your hard work and having the balls to crowdfund absolutely the niche-iest game I could ever conceive of--I hope you blow every expectation out of the water.

To be honest I've been more blown away by anyone, because I didn't expect there to be as much of a response to this as there has been. Especially not with how the project started. I've definitely been devoted to it, and hope people who find it silly might like it afterall

Re: Dizzy Hearts [GxG][M content] DEMO
I've been silently following this project for months now. Initially, the idea of fiores was what attracted me to it, and reading your blog and just seeing how dedicated you are really cinched it for me. I absolutely loved the demo, and was sorely disappointed when it ended. Your art is beautiful, your story is well-thought out, and your writing style is very compelling.
Originally, I had thought I would like Mercilia or Irraera the most, but after playing the demo, they turned out to be my least favourites. Mercilia was kind of rude and crass in every scene she was in. I know that'll be addressed in the full game, but it did put me off a bit. And Irraera...I don't know what to say about her. She was not at all what I expected, and I'm hovering between like and dislike for her. Oddly enough, Aunyrae was the one I thought I'd like least but turned out to be my favourite after I played the demo. I'll be looking forward to that future game when I can make Aunyrae and Serivadokinkykinkythings get together romantically.
So yeah, I've been lurking on this project for awhile now, but I thought I should let you know how amazing this is and how much your dedication is appreciated. I look forward to more updates.

Thank you very much, I'm glad you liked it so much and no one is more surprised than me about how it turned out.Aedin wrote:I've been silently following this project for months now. Initially I had to cut out the idea of multiple paths, and have Mercilia being the true path. It's something I had to do for simplicity. The size of the game had to be small and everything. This is really my opportunity to really realize it the way I wanted it to be.
There are also new games after DH, one that is more traditional and probably interesting and sexy but with a lot more characters people can really like. With DH though, what you see of the characters is kind of just the first glance. I'm sure you'll be surprised!

Re: Dizzy Hearts [GxG][M content] DEMO
I'd been following this for the art (not everyday you see quality anime art around here, much less BGs, and you've nailed both), and the success of the kickstarter up to this point was a pleasant surprise. Maybe it's because I don't follow the adult thread, but I had no idea this had so much support; as Obscura said, this is possibly one of the niche-iest games you could think of. Though futa is not my cup of tea, I wholeheartedly wish for your game to succeed as you had originally planned.

Re: Dizzy Hearts [GxG][M content] DEMO
I think it's because it can be enjoyed by people who arn't fans of futa, in the beginning I was really focused on making the game and I didn't know how to advertise it. So I've probably caused a few misconceptions about the gamelatte wrote:I'd been following this for the art (not everyday you see quality anime art around here, much less BGs, and you've nailed both), and the success of the kickstarter up to this point was a pleasant surprise. It's more of a yuri+ story, though the demo is 16+ the game is really more of a romance than a fetishfuel explosion (though that's okay on it's own). The plan is for DH to be enjoyed by people who like both those things!
Thanks by the way.

Hmm, I have no qualms with yuri actually; as you said, it's more of a problem with the generalized notion of futa. There's something that isn't very clear to me though, will there be a 16+ finished version? If yes, I might be interested in backing this.Taosym wrote:I think it's because it can be enjoyed by people who arn't fans of futa, in the beginning I was really focused on making the game and I didn't know how to advertise it. Re: Dizzy Hearts [GxG][M content] DEMO
Yes, there are two different versions completely. one is 16+ and another is 18+ because of US law, I will only be selling the mature version on DLsite. Whereas the 16+ version can be sold in way more places legally. Like on my site, through Kickstarter, etc.latte wrote:Hmm, I have no qualms with yuri actually; as you said, it's more of a problem with the generalized notion of futa. Just dropping by to say congrats on the success you're having on your Kickstarter campaign!
When drawing something, anything, USE REFERENCES!! Use your Google-fu!
Don't trust your memory, and don't blindly trust what others teach you either.
Research, observation, analysis, experimentation and practice are the key! (:
