I like that outfit, and as someone who isn't really interested in loli I'd kind of prefer something like that as a default (at least for the non-erotic version).
I played your demo and the only real criticisms I had are the repetitiveness of the music, which I imagine will be fixed, and the way Seriva just sort of accepts everything, especially Aunyrae telling her about wives. She seemed more surprised that she had thirteen than the fact she had wives. I'd expect a little more culture shock there, unless same-sex marriage is normal in Assard.

Being pansexual, androgynous and polyarmous I didn't even notice the same-sex angle. I was hit so totally off-guard by the number and so glad Seriva accepted polygomy that I actually totally missed that and that it would seem unusual to some people.

Though I'd say it's not same-sex if Aunyrae is a non-Royal fiore. The fiore are clearly a second sex even if not males as we think of them.

I also really like that outfit. Changing was she wears, and not just what scenes appear, based on version seems wrong to me. On the other hand if she has an outfit like that at all I'd expect her to be wearing it outdoors most of the time anyway.

I only mentioned that because as I understand it, before the events in the plot, Servia has never stepped foot outside her own town which itself seems pretty isolated. Therefore culture shock would be normal, even for an open-minded individual.

You're right about the music. This is all being fixed and believe me I'm taking notes on all the things I wanted in the game but couldn't fit~

Like one thing is the fact that Elves are used to the cold and wear clothes like this:

But then indoors elves like to be warm and are very communal so they dress light.. The clothes were actually designed well over a year ago and they are pretty damn outdated, except for Seri's which is very current. I like Merci's attire but there are going to be definite changes to all the characters. For one Nail will not wear the current clothes she's in very often. Aunyrae is going to have outdoorsy attire and some modest clothes (but it fits her character to be immodest). It just so happened that everything was just super raunchy. Now, because of the Kickstarter I can afford to create design sheets for all the characters and the elves in general. So the clothes will also change to reflect the setting. The sprites are also going to be changed to fix some proportions.

The culture shock is a tough nut to crack and I think it's a matter of timing, she should be surprised by almost everything and a lot of what you see in the Demo is much smaller than that particular part of the story. Mostly because the need to introduce the characters and give testers an idea of the rest of the game.

About the game itself, the way I'm doing the routes are very unusual but I think they fit the game. Merci is the main romance, and even if loli is not your thing, the game will be playable without any mature material and there's much more to Merci beyond "Tsun loli". Aunyrae, Irraere, and Nail are supporting main characters. Their stories directly intertwine with Mercilia's. She's an oddball, grouped with a bunch of oddballs. When you go through the game you're able to go down the path of that character and learn more about them, but also their connection with Merci's royal dilemma. It's like a central route, but the other characters branch through it.

There are also several other side characters you haven't met such as Irraere's assistant, and Mercilia's sisters, Queen Llend. I can't quite give much away, but each character is very different from how you you'd expect, they seem understandable at first, but there's a lot more to them.

Now I should probably clear up. Aunyrae is a priestess, so she's completely female (Fiore aren't allowed in the priesthood), it's normal for priests to marry women in Elven culture. There's a lot to -why- the priesthood is female restricted, but if you happened upon concept material from before. It's somewhat because they are spiritual wives of their goddess, a fiore. It's also not common for elves to have as many wives as Aunyrae does, and that's a part of Aunyrae's development. I can totally see how she could be assumed to be fiore, it's pretty intentional because she's a very dominant kind of woman.

Nail is a woman as well. Mercilia is Fiore and Irraere is also Fiore.

At least give some hints about the genre/style of the songs! Also will the BGM musician compose them as well? What about the lyrics?

Well, the OP is going to be very exciting and fast paced, I wouldn't really classify it as pop but it's going to be really cool. The ending is going to be much cuter, but it's related to a part of the story. We have a good amount of the lyrics done, but we are sort of waiting to secure the $8k stretch goal to start work on demo tracks. The idea is to get this all set up and demo tracks made early. Then start mixing, master recording things once the KS finishes~

There's also a bit of a internal unsureness about how many songs will be on the soundtrack. However I want a wide range of BGMs and interesting mixes of character songs and such.
