It Starts With One [bxb][futuristic][mystery]

When the city of New Cardinal was founded, people had great hopes for it. With most of the world left in ruins after the last great war, the city was a beacon of hope. It was a place to start over. A place for hopes and dreams to come true. Almost fifty years later, and supposedly New Cardinal has lived up to expectations. The streets and hearts of the people are still brightly lit... but that light is cold.
From the outside, things might seem perfect... but from the inside, the city is a gate to chaos, just waiting for the right key.
After a dull childhood in the countryside, Castor decides that it's time for a change. He moves to New Cardinal with the hopes that he can get his life in order and out of the rut that he's been in for the last 18 years. Shortly after he becomes accustomed to life in the city, a murderer who earns the nickname "the Painter" hits the streets.
As for what happens next... well that depends on what you decide.
The main cast, though Tailley does not have a path to himself.
Romantic Options:
Hei
Castor's new roommate. He's a bit of a shut-in, and only goes outside to take photographs of things. He runs a blogging website and sells prints online.
Reve
He lives upstairs from Hei and Castor. He owns a small company that makes handmade unique jewelry and accessories. He used to weld things as a hobby, but stopped after an accident that nearly cost him an eye. He has a fear of fire and hot things because of it.
Ailen
Once upon a time he and Reve were a couple. He runs the cafe on the ground floor of the building where Castor lives. He is a bit of a potty-mouth, and loves a good joke.
Other Characters:
Tailley
A friend that Castor grew up with. They had been out of touch for about ten years, and ran into each other by chance in New Cardinal.
Luxy
Castor's twin sister. She lives with their Aunt back at home, and is currently in school trying to get her degree. She talks a lot, but sometimes it actually has meaning, so Castor phones her from time to time. Her favorite pastime is trying to get her dog Ruffles to do tricks.

This is my first project, and I will be working on it by myself. Renpy seems to be a very friendly program so far...
I hope you find it interesting!
