Story

Four kids used to be best friends until one day, Hotaru had to move into another town. It froze their friendship and in the end they grew more and more distant. When they get into middle school, Hotaru came back to the town and united them together once again. Immersed with the nostalgia, they hang out together like their childhood days. However it does not last that long, as everything changed in one night for Kou after he sees what Yoshio is doing in the middle of the night. Phasmas appeared before them, giving them a chance to repel the aliens who came to feed upon humans on earth.


Characters

Kousuke
The main character of the story. He dislikes conflict and crowd and tends to observe his surrounding and others. Due to his timid nature, he doesn't have many friends. He longs the old days when he and his other three friends used to play together all the time, so he gets very excited when Hotaru finally came back. He commands the power of wind with his Phasma, Caelum.


Yoshio
A naturally skilled extrovert who's good at sports and studying. He is a positive thinker and is popular among girls and boys alike due to his open personality. Although he has many friends now, none of them means as much to him as his three childhood friends in the past. He gets to summon fire with the power of his Phasma, Mons Ignifer.


Hotaru
The girl who always keeps the group intact. She has a soothing aura around her but she used to be a tomboy. When she came back, she quickly became a catalyst which ties the four of them together once again. Likes to cook for her friends. She controls plants with her Phasma, Silva.


Akira
An eccentric boy who is pretty much a delinquent. Kou avoids him because of how terrifying he looks now. But hes surprisingly friendly with the others when Hotaru came back. In the inside, he's still the gentle Akira his friends used to know and love. His Phasma, Aecor, lets him use water to his will.
Hello. This is the project we've been working on at the moment. Amici itself means 'Friends' in latin.

The game consists of three main routes and one true route unlockable by finishing all the other routes, as well as lots of Bad End branches. It includes original soundtrack and artworks. The current release date is unknown, but it will be finished before June. The language is English, but we will work on a Japanese version as soon as we finish it.

There's not much we can show yet at this moment, but comments and feedbacks are always welcome (°∇°)

The story seems interesting, and the art is so cute. *.*

I can post SSes of the VN, but right now we haven't started working on the BGs, so we used free bgs as dummies in the mean time, and thus I won't be posting the SS just yet.

Nice art! How are free BGs working for you? The ones i've found don't really fit with our sprite art, so the whole thing is tricky. Anyway, good luck!

Looks nice so far Are you intending for this to be purely a VN, or are you looking to put other kinds of gameplay in there for combat and such?

Thanks! The free BGs obviously don't fit the sprites at all, lol. But yeah we have to put up with it at least until we finally start working on BGs.

It'll be purely VN, but in the combat scenes you will be given choices that will affect the battle (like any other VNs out there which has battle scenes, haha)

Ah, I see. Not really played any VNs with combat before, so I was curious.

I like what I see so far, seems like a very promising setting/premise. Have to admit the horror/psychological tags pulled me in, but I'm looking forward to everything else.
