I still like Ansel the most, because... uhh, megane, and really, after all this time I still wonder what's in this notebook he's always carrying around.
Although his neck looks a bit twisted and thin on the sprite, just my two cents.

It's actually funny because when I drew Ansel, I immediately thought of you. I still have your Share the Love sketch saved and I look at it from time to time.

Again, please excuse the placeholder sprites and texts; I changed the look of the textbox to make it less cluttered. I'm posting these screencaps because I want to get some opinion on which style you guys like better for the dialogue text:

• 1.) Should I change the font color for the name?

• 2.) Would you prefer the dialogue text to be bigger?

First one seems a lot more readable, imo
I'm okay with the nameplate like that, but you may try other options if you want and see what works better for you.

First one is much more readable.

The dialog box style looks nice, but be careful about letting the text stretch too wide, it can be hard on the eyes to have to cross a really wide space and then jump back to the start of the next line.

The first one is better. Maybe for the guys you could add different colors for their name depending on their eye or clothes color.
