Her Majesty! [GxB][Romance/Comedy] Update - 3/7

Hi there! I am klonki from skyline+.
This thread is a complete revamp of the old HM! thread I made.
While the story has been reworked, the character details remain more or less true.

Enter Carmeline, a girl who lives her life following Carmel's tradition of acting as the "shadow" of the renowned princess she is named after. Her life takes a sudden shift when a shocking evidence reveals that she may or may not be the king and queen's daughter!
As a prerogative, she is given a coin. To her surprise, the coin happens to grant anyone access to the prestigious Bonafide -- a place where nobles gather around to refine and socialize, join associations, and build reputation in a high class society.
What does one who has no experience in such thing can accomplish in a place like this? Is this her chance to separate her identity from the Princess?

Carmeline the 13th
Age: 18
The heroine and the 13th successor of Princess Carmeline.
Raised as Carmeline's "shadow" since childhood, she grows used to a life of confinement inside the castle.
However, she can't help but wonder whether the people love her for what she is and not for what she stands for.
A tenacious girl, she sets out on a goal to be appreciated for who she is and live a life filled with "both excitement and joy"...by building a club in Bonafide just for that!
Oddly enough, three people decide to join, but one must wonder: what reasons do they have in doing so?
Gareth Caswell
Age: 18
Carmeline's appointed knight.
They first met when he was still a young page, and the two became friends right away.
Earnest and hardworking, he can be a bit of a workaholic. He aims to provide his family a comfortable lifestyle to the best of his ability.
In spite of rumors about Carmeline's origin, Gareth remains loyal to the princess and accompanies her to Bonafide, even if it meant being relieved from the knighthood by the Order itself.
Ansel Strauss
Age: 19
The son of Duke Strauss, owner of Bonafide.
Ansel is often left in charge with handling Bonafide as part of his preparation to be a successful heir of Strauss.
Like a natural born charmer, he quickly wins the hearts of many, though he seems distant toward them.
He is not obligated to join any clubs, but he joins Carmeline's in a heartbeat, stating no other reason than finding it a break from monotony.
Killian Forstadt
Age: 17
The Prince of Valeste who Carmeline is supposed to marry.
Much to his chagrin, his mother forced him to go to Bonafide to make up for his lack of "delicacy"...as well as other reasons he does not wish to tell.
Killian prefers to sleep and dislikes wasting "energy" on trivial things.
Regardless, he joins Carmeline's club, saying that he just needs a place to crash during club hours.

**The entire Royalty/Nobility System is tweaked for this story and is not a direct representation of the actual thing.
As mentioned in the old thread, the idea for HM! first came to me around 2006-2007.
Most of my past stories had always been Mystery/Psychological Thriller-related, so I wanted to write a light-hearted story with a twist and focus on family and relationships for a change.
I do have a soft spot for cute otome games. Here's hoping I could replicate the same type of happiness I feel whenever I play those games into my own game. :')
(My focus right now is on the script, but rest assured that once I graduate this May I will be able to work on this at a faster pace!)
