morphE [Paranormal/Supernatural] [Drama] [Horror]

Rating: Older teens and up, due to violence and general cruelty
Format: morphE is a little different from most kinetic novels, in that it isn’t done all at once. Coded in flash, it will update three days a week, webcomic-style. While the story only has one path, the abilities of the reader grow as the main characters develop their magic. At certain points in the story, readers will be able to view a given scene through various “mage sights,” providing deeper insight into the world and the mysteries within.
Plot:
After their rescue from a madwoman’s hellish subterranean caverns, five humans have their eyes opened to the dark truth lurking under normal society. A "benefactor" takes them in, but he’s a cold-blooded killer with a deadly fixation on the new mages. In a world of magic, vampires, werewolves, ghosts and far creeper creatures, can he be trusted? Can anyone?

Our launch date is toward the end of this month, March 28th. We’re going to start with at least 30 pages, and each page has a few frames of dialogue, text and images. We’re almost done with all the assets for the prologue and first chapter. We're still working on sound effects, and I want to give the sprites some more expressions. We’re all really looking forward to showing this to everyone.
I’ve been doing webcomics for six years now. I’ve toyed around with Ren’Py before and I’m a glutton for visual novels, but this is my first time really diving into making one. And we all know that it’s a little different from other webcomics or kinetic novels. I kind of feel like Frankenstein or Moreau over here, cobbling together something I’ve never seen before. So I’d really like to hear if you guys think it works, and any crit you might have. Do you even think a mixture of webcomic and VN can be done? Has it been done before? Or are we madwomen? XD
