Figured I'd throw an update up here before this thread gets any more buried than it already is... It -has- been a while since I updated.
Phantasmagoria's first Arc 'The Firefly & The Raven' is roughly 75% complete...I've been working slowly but surely
I've one last, and fairly major, scene to write before the final confrontation commences. After that it's just one CG and the writing for the actual fight and wrap up...
So I estimate Arc 1 to be about 6 or 7 chapters long, if things keep as they are.
I'll steal a tidbit from my blog about the story-structure of the VN as well:
While I'm on the subject: Phantasmagoria:TRoMM has 3 main arcs, in addition to a prologue and an epilogue. I call these arcs Chapters, and each chapter is subdivided into subchapters... (1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4 etc.)
Each Arc/Chapter builds off the previous ones, obviously, but they are each more or less independent, with their own villain and story. I wanted to write them as individual stories inside a greater narrative.
And last but not least, another preview CG just to prove that I've -actually- been doing something
