Destiny Fails Us takes place in the Pacific Northwest in a fictional town of Moirai. It follows the life of Idril Ar'Feinel, a girl who spends too much time with video games and not enough on her homework.
In the beginning of Destiny Fails Us, Idril's time is devoted to friends, video games, and a childhood crush named Vincent. Everything in her life gets flipped upside down all in one day. Suddenly, romance, school work, and friendships have become more complicated and as Idril takes a step back to reassess her life. You, the Player, take the reigns and decide what will become of Idril's teenage years.
Your choices will effect everything from your friendships, social status and love life, to your grades and what events you experience in the DFU world. Are you the type of person who strives to hold on to all of your friends and loved ones, or would you rather ignore the wants and needs of those around you to further your own gain? Either way, it's up to you to decide whether you would like to be the perfect angel, or feed your inner demon.
Destiny Fails Us is an otome game. The story is a mixture of romance, slice of life, and mystery. The game's story takes place in 3 acts. Depending on the choices made in the story, Idril may fall in love with one of the 6 love interests, weaken and gain friendships, and possibly raise her grades or focus on becoming a competitive gamer.

Alaska freaked out, violently yelling "I'll make him like me!" and "He will be mine!" which shattered her 'cute' appearance with her violent nature.

Currently, she is dating the top player on the basketball team which she manages, Brian. The two started dating after she broke up a fight between him and another student by offering her own money to compensate for the other student's lunch money.
