Woah, stellar designs! I love sci-fi but can't write or draw it for the life of me. So I'm very much impressed, this is looking great.

There are three main heroines in the game. I posted them on the first post.

Thanks John, the whole team's quite excited as well. Thanks for the advice you've given so far in developing games. I'll be sure to update you when we're done man. :)

Thanks Aceline.

I have problems drawing/writing for sci-fi too. Good thing though, some of my teammates are really great at it and has been guiding me. It took us years of practice, trial and errors... but still, we got a long way to go. But it's in my motto to better to try and fail, rather than not try at all. You should start as early as you can! :)

Indeed, there's a lot of decent sci-fi games recently to look forward to. :)

August 9 Update:

Hi Lemmasoft, I'm here to inform everyone again about our progress. :D
Remember that we have officially opened our website which has more news.
We're quite active in updating there, for up to two to five times a week!

Visit http://www.innomenpro.com to get more detailed schedule and status report of our project.
We may be posting the character profiles and a bit more preview of the game soon!

These are our stage 1-3 backgrounds, and there are 3 more in progress. 3/20 at the moment.
We'll also have a total of 10 interiors for the VN side of the game. 2/10 at the moment.
We have also implemented normal maps to our ships so the environment lighting may take effect. This one's complete.

We will, soon. We're trying to give a taste of what our branching story may offer even in the demo version,
and we're still expanding the choices and where the story will diverge from the common route. I may post a sneak peek of the flowchart we've been working on.
On another note, I'm personally looking forward for Sunrider's update, you've done quite a masterpiece on the floorplans and models. They're really inspiring!

So I just noticed the features list says this is gonna be a battleship shmup. You'll have to clarify what that means. I thought this was gonna be like Gratuitous Space Battles from a horizontal perspective where two customized fleets converge, and not a shmup like Tohou.

My friends say it's a mix of Tower Defense and Shmup.
A more accurate definition, imagine playing as...
Gundam 00's CBS-70 Ptolemaios or Muv Luv's Susanoo + uncontrollable allies vs tons of BETA in space, however in our case, the enemies are humans as well.
Shmup comparison:
- Controls/functions/abilities are focused on one single vessel, however ours is one huge (and somewhat slow) battleship

and you will get hit 90% of the time.
However, Sierra's mobility can be modified by allocating all energy to thrusters.
But! it still won't be as fast as Reimu's normal speed.
(plus, your hit box's enormous, especially when the shield is on!)

- At some stages, the map's a little long and you have to reach an objective,
while in other stages, you just have to defend/hold the line.

- Just like shmups , there are bosses mostly at every end of chapter.

Tower defense comparison:

- You can set the weapons installed before a mission starts.

- You need to prevent the destruction of your battleship, otherwise, it is game over.

Other features:
- Unlike Tower defense where you can sometimes sit and relax once you set the correct defenses,
Sierra relies on the weapons installed and player's efficiency in the following:
1. Allocating energy correctly to shield/offense/mobility depending on the situation.
2. Setting targets correctly.
3. Deploying platforms, using abilities at the right times.

- You can upgrade your 6 stats up to 50 levels, this will help increase offense/defense/LP or Shield regen rate and more!

Increasing stats will also unlock ship abilities and obtain component upgrades.

(There's no ideal stats build, but we worked hard to make the playstyle more flexible.)

- And finally, you do have Allied units with you, but you have to prevent severe loss of Allied Units otherwise
there will be heavy penalty to the resource units (money) you will receive.

I hope all of the information I've provided clarifies your query. :)
