DATE-H: Revenge of the Butterfly

DATE-H (デート - H - 'Deeto Ecchi') is a series of BL visual novels I'm working on. "Revenge of the Butterfly" (蝶の復讐 - 'Chou no Fukushuu') is the first chapter in which you play as Tite Kurosawa, a cheerful japanese high school student.

Plot

The story takes place in the Ikubo private male Academy: on the first day of his 3d year, Tite meets a new transfer student, the androginous Shino who happens not to know the school building yet. Although stubborn, Shino can't refuse Tite's offer to show him the school before the lessons start. During class, the new History teacher, Mr. Asegawa, won't stop teasing the long haired boy... what's going on between the two of them?! The closer Tite gets to Shino, the more blurry things appear to him. Only one thing seems to connect this strange series of events: a butterfly.
Choose carefully your answers... you don't know what could happen if you don't!

Endings

The game isn't completed yet, but I'm planning to do at least four different endings, probably even five. Only one is the good ending, tho

Warnings

This game may not be suitable for people under the age of 18 for its explicit sexual content and the themes of murder and rape. Also - as I said before - it's a boyxboy visual novel.

About the making of the game...

This is my very first serious project. I've never done anything like this before and it's kind of a challenge for me. I'm trying my best with the graphics (which I make on Paint Tool SAI), the script (studying on Ren'Py's site everyday!) and the story itself, (which I first wrote some years ago, but I'm developing it only now.). As for the music, I'm using some songs from my YouTube playlist, hoping not to break any copyrights as I am not making any profit from this game. However, I'll put all the credits in the game once it's done and if something shouldn't be there, just tell me so that I can quickly replace it with something else. I hope you'll like it

PS: I have some kind of fetish for tsundere characters, so don't mind me teasing Shino just to see how adorably he reacts lol

Here are some of the characters' sprites + a short description

Name: Tite Kurosawa
Profession: student
About him: Tite is a cheerful guy in his third year in the Ikubo Academy. He's very friendly and kind, but if something upsets him, he can become violent. When he first meets Shino, he mistakes him for a girl, winning him the title of 'useless moron'. He soon develops romantic feelings towards the new transfer student, making him want to know the truth behind him. He's got a weird fetish for sweet smells.

Name: ???? Asegawa, commonly referred to as Mr. Asegawa/Asegawa sensei. His first name is unknown.
Profession: History teacher
About him: Mr. Asegawa is the new History teacher in Tite's class. He is a very strict person and often punishes his students. Nobody knows why he's always scolding Shino with no apparent reasons. People think they might know eachother outside the school... for questionable reasons. He's always wearing a blue butterfly-shaped brooch on his jacket.

Name: Shino Ikubo
Profession: student
About him: His very feminine figure has always troubled him, making it difficult to make friends for him. Right on his firt day in the new school, he meets Tite who mistakes him for a girl. Since then, Shino won't stop calling him a 'useless moron', even tough he doesn't dislike him that much. He actually enjoys Tite's company, as long as he doen't get too inappropriate. Shino doesn't like to talk about his past, nor to explain the reason why he transferred to the Ikubo Academy. As his surname suggests, he's clearly realated to the school: he won't tell in which way, though. He's costantly trying to hide the back of his neck, covering it with his hair.

Now, involving the game:
If you release it before the next summer, I won't be able to play it, since I'm still underage. But hey, BL! Who doesn't love BL? Can't say much about the plot. Your art is cute ^^. So yes, I say go on with it. However I advise you to show some progress on a regular basis, since this project is more an idea than a WIP.

Never stops sites like OSU! to use Music for the game which people can easily stripe from the folder FOR FREE.
While I'm not for the idea of using random music people put on youtube, it's not a total crime to use music that is not yours as long as you don't make a profit off it. Just be careful, some people are stupid enough to sue others on the internet.

Even the main character looks like one of the main characters of the show; Sunao. Was this inspired by Sukisho? The plot feels so identical with one another.

I know Sukisho, I've watched the anime, it's one of my favourites! I don't know much of the game, I haven't played it. I'm actually happy you connected my project to Sukisho anyway, because I adore that anime Actually, the story is kinda different from what I know Sukisho is about, but there may be some similarities since that's my favourite kind of shonen-ai (young, soft-touch like art with bright colors). As for Shino, he is inspired by a character from Princess Princess, with a different hair color
