5 Questions

#1 Post by carbon-ko » Fri Aug 09, 2013 1:16 am

So I made my first visual novel with Ren'Py. It's a short love story with twins. I made it mostly to practice but, I would love feedback on it. http://games.renpy.org/game/5_questions.shtml

Special Thanks to Anna for providing the character sprites.

So is that a work in progress, or a completed game?

It isn't finished but, at the time I had no idea I could attach files to a forum post so I ended up submitting it to the Ren'Py website so I could link to it. It is a self contained story but, I want it to be longer than it is currently.

Congrats on finishing this (: Although...
I didn't like this much because, well, the choices didn't really make sense. Luke sensed that they dropped 'clues', but without more background about what happened the past day, the clues don't really make sense.

It was pretty funny, although... I wish the "clues" were easier to understand. :)) I kinda guessed and luckily, I got the correct one, however, the hints they dropped and the answers to the five questions didn't help me at all. Still, this could be a nice, longer VN too you know! :)

Congratulations on making your first visual novel though. :)

Thanks! I made it mostly for practice so I could figure out how to use Ren'Py. Yeah I agree the clues could have been a little better.
