We've actually already optimized the sprites and shaved 100mb off from the limited release, but the backgrounds are still as high quality as they could be. :D

Thanks for being an early tester for us! Sorry you had to see the crappy quality video. We've improved it but it's still a placeholder. XD

This game is really beautiful to see, even the smallest detail is polished... Maybe a bit heavy for my laptop tu run in window mode but works perfectly in full screen.
However, background are really (really!) wonderful and musics fits really well with your apocalypse environment and finally that worth it. :)

Hope that this game will be finished soon but for the moment I'm still blocked at the first puzzle... No comment.

I'm stuck at the first puzzle, too! I don't do well with puzzle games, too bad there isn't a mode you can select that will take you through the game without having to go nuts trying to find all the things to click on. Even a hint scheme would be helpful for those of us who are puzzle-solving challenged. The implementation of the game is great, but I guess it just is not for me.

Looks like we're right to include a persistent hint once you leave the diary a certain number of times, and that's gonna be in the next update. :)

So I was chatting with Uchikoshi-san and of course I brought up Exogenesis, which is inspired by Zero Escape games. Exogenesis wouldn't even exist if I didn't play 999 and realized there is a kind of game I can make which has commercial potential.

I told him... Image

Then later on, I was looking for a video of his old GDC talk but found this instead: http://www.gamespot.com/videos/zero-esc ... 0-6405674/. I posted the link on his FB wall. Here's what he had to say about it:

That game seems really amazing, but there's one thing that bothers me... I suck at puzzles! =(
I was really hype and so I started to read the demo but now I'm stuck in the very first room, that is such a cruel fate. The color puzzle went well, even considering that it wasn't color blind friendly, but now I can't seem to find the way to get out of that room.

It's kinda frustrating because the game is really beautiful, have great music and seems to have an interesting universe. I really want to read more of it, but I'll have to resolve that puzzle, so if anyone has any tips, I would be really grateful
