Why did you move to Unity for a plain VN? now that Ren'Py is getting iOS support the only "potential benefit" to use Unity instead is consoles

Yes, there was particularly strong demand for Vita and the 3DS indie scene is thriving, so there's been a lot of growing pains (Ren'Py is such a pleasant engine to work with compared to starting from scratch with Unity) but we're hoping it pays off in the long run.

Ah I see. Maybe one day Pytom will port Ren'Py to Vita/3DS
(I'm joking, he has already enough with iOS now)

Wow, this thread brings back so many memories...
So an update - while the game is unfortunately no longer made with Ren'Py (perhaps a huge misstep in hindsight), Exogenesis is FINALLY on early access.
