FI: Interview [Platonic GxB/G][Comedy/Friendship] COMPLETED

Okay so all six interviewees have been added finally :'D. I hope people will enjoy the cast ^^.

In this game the main goal is to just complete the writing job but not every character is as helpful as another. So the difficulty of winning the game depends on who you interview. Since all the interviewees are now up here is an idea of the difficulty levels from easiest to hardest. The ones in the middle have similar requirements so it is not a huge difference between them but if you compare the easiest to the hardest there is an obvious difference.

Overzealous Guy -> Some Chick -> Closed Eyes -> Tourist Stereotype -> Mr. Grump -> Creeper

Hehe thanks. I'm glad you think so :3. I like his design a lot too. He's actually tied for my favorite character :>.


And in other news the game will include a cutey bonus comic that is unlocked if you successfully interview each of the six options at least once. So for fun here is one of the panels ^^.

Well Happy Holidays to everyone :]. Unfortunately because of the season and life stuff the sprite artist wasn't really able to work on this project during this month. So the release of the game will probably have to be pushed back a month or possibly more depending on when the artist can get back to working on the project regularly. Sorry about that :'D. We'll still try to release the game relatively soon.

There are now quite a few more pieces of art in the others section. And they are all really wonderful ^^. Since I added those I didn't feel like adding game art too so there isn't an update for that this time.

Besides adding those lovely new pieces of art I also want to mention the progress of the script. The current word count in the game is about 53,000 and there are about 15,000-16,000 words worth of finished scenes that need to be edited and added to the game. And besides that there is probably around 4,000 words from random places and unfinished scenes that will need to be edited and added later on. So yeah the script is almost ready and the game will end up being in the 70,000s rather than the 60,000s like I originally thought.

I'll probably add some new game art in a few days or something >.>.

So I updated the first post again. I had been ignoring this thread for too long so updates will be a lot more frequent than they have been for the past couple weeks. I went ahead and added the latest statistics (man this game has a lot of menus :'D). I also changed the way the in-game character art is presented. Instead of having separate pictures I made one big picture with a preview of their overall sprite. So far I've only done it for Marisol and Overzealous Guy though. And lastly I added another piece of art done by others. Seriously I really appreciate all the art people have done for this game ^v^.

The next thing coming is Closed Eyes' finished sprite preview picture thing. I'll put that up when I feel like it XD. Probably in a couple days or so.

Another update ^^.

The game is now at a little over 80,000 words and there are still about 10,000 left so I guess I just really suck at estimating how long something will be 'X3.

I also added Closed Eyes' sprite preview. A neat little tidbit is that you can see more of Closed Eyes' lower body than a most of the other characters. That is because in the game he actually stands further away from the MC so you have a better view of him. It is pretty apparent when you see him next to someone who stands especially close to the MC (like Overzealous Guy for example).

Alright so I finished the script a little while back and now it's mostly edited. Hooray . The current word count is over 90,000 and when the last few scenes are added it'll be 95,000+ words.

Honestly I hardly know where all these words are coming from XD.

But yeah the game is basically done and we're mostly just waiting for some art assets :]. However I am joining Nanoreno and the sprite artist is busy with tests so I have a feeling that despite how close it is to being done FI: Interview won't be released until sometime in April. Sorry for such a long wait >.>.

Can't believe I haven't seen this before. The interviewee bios are killing me. Susan's observations are hilarious.

Anyway, the plot sounds pretty awesome and original; I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

I'm most interested in seeing more characters' expressions in your next update. They say a lot about a character's personality and the artist's style.

I like all of the characters thus far (or at least I like the way Susan describes them). If I had to pick a favorite, though, I'd probably go with Mr. Grump because he's basically me in exaggerated male chibi form. The sleep deprivation struggle is real. Also, lab coats are pretty awesome.

I've no problem with the format of the WIP thread.

I'll be tracking your progress from here on out!
