About:

Fatexheart is an action/fantasy visual novel. The story will be broken up into chapters/episodes and given choices for outcome of episode. It will each be released separately. While every chapter/episode will have its own storyline, rest assured that they will all relate to and advance the overall plot.

This does have incest themes intergrated into the game but we will try not to make putt off and such.

Akuma’s Bellum.
It’s a competition to find the strongest warrior team in existence—the team that will eventually face the Demon Lord himself.
There is only one condition to participate in Akuma’s Bellum:
You and your partners must be personally chosen by the great Demon Lord Akuma.

There are hundreds of warrior pairs around the world, each equipped with a different set of powers…
But only one team can be the strongest.
If you want to survive…
You and your partners must use your powers to prove that you are the strongest warriors.

Eloise Kobayashi(小林　エリオス; Kobayashi Eriosu)



Eloise is the protagonist of the story. She is the daughter and wife of Yuuki and like her mother is an ex-member of 'The Core'. She’s incredibly competitive and naturally energetic, but she’s also simple minded and can get easily flustered when she’s out of her comfort zone. Fortunately, she has a knack for getting stronger after each fight—a nice ability to have in this kind of situation. Eloise is leader of Team Eloise.

Yuuki Kobayashi(小林 悠姫; Kobayashi Yuuki):



Yuuki is the wife and mother of Eloise. Like Eloise, she she is an ex-member of the organization call 'The core' and is highly regarded as one of their best. She is loyal, independent, reserved, appearing cold to everyone except a select few, due to her taboo marriage. Yuuki plays the second member of Team Eloise.

Tony Rage



Tony is the de facto leader of 'The Core' and used to partners with Yuuki. He has shown a high level of intelligence, far above leaders before him. He's all about getting the job done, so he is easy to anger when someone scews up. He seem to have a crush on Yuuki. He plays the last member of Team Eloise.

Notes:
I think we have enough to move to main wip forum. After some struggles within the team, we finally set in stone the cast of characters and what they will appear like. We are planning to make a demo in the spring that shows some parts of chapter 1 and then move onto crowdfunding the rest of the game. I would like know what you think of three main characters I posted and any question or something that just pop into your head. We are closing the open dev as of right now and will be more forward to final product.

Looks interesting, yuri isn't usually my thing, nor is incest really, but it does sound like it could be interesting. That and I love anything with action scenes in it.

Was Yuuki character inspired by Arcueid?
It's uncanny how close the two look, especially with the new design.

Actually the answer is no but I see how it seems like that based on mostly on the clothes. Yuuki is based on another character from Type Moon.... Saber

Okay.
Going to assume incestuous same-sex marriage is legal in this setting and suspend my disbelief.

It sounds really interesting, and I really like the art. However in my opinion Yuuki looks too young to be the mother of Eloise. They both look around the same age to me. When you say 'mother' I assume birthmother so it kinda throws me off a bit.

Actually, incestuous same-sex marriage is still in debate in the setting though theirs is the exception.

Glad that you find it really interesting and like the art. Yeah, you are right about her being birth mother and also looking too young but there are couple of reasons in why she looks that way that will be explained in the story. I hope that doesn't stop you from trying it out.

Mini update:

We are planning to make a demo of the first part of chapter 1 that you guys can try out and give out opinions. We are about 24% done in terms of writing and now attempting to gather the resource we need for it. Hopefully, we can show you screenshots in the future.

There is more updates you guys! We are almost done writing up the script for the demo. We have to do a small fighting scene and we are good to go on art and other assets. We are around 5k atm!

Speaking of Art assets I have a new outfit of Yuuki to show and a sketch of one of the upcoming characters in the story.

Note: This is just sketch and things may be change when translating into sprite form. Also, Doom is from one someone's else game and got permission and working along side in the project.

With that armor, Yuuki might be looking a little TOO much like Saber. Probably won't be an issue, but you never know.

Yeah, you maybe right but we based it around not well known armor of Saber so that maybe why.

Anyways, here is a quick update for you guys. The demo script is finish! It's around 5.5k in length is being proofread as we speak. Hopefully we could hear an update from the proofreader soon.
