I don't know if anyone here is anticipating Toko but it's still in the works. We hit a little speedbump in the writing, but for me that's always the hard part. Until then feel free to ask questions or just talk.

Still interested in this, but if you've got your hands full with Dizzy Hearts that should probably take priority if you don't mind me saying.

Art really isn't the issue, we're still ironing out the writing a bit. I was unable to finish everything on Nanowrimo and then the holidays happened. I'm hoping that I can get the script early January and then work on spriting from there, which only should take me about a day per sprite since they won't be as detailed as Dizzy Heart's~

The Reject Demon: Toko "TRDToko" will be coming out February 14th free of charge. Estimated around an hour and a half to two hours long.

TRDToko is the story of Toko, a demon who was kicked out of Hell and forced to live in the human world. While there she begins to experience all sorts of problems, the least of which Hell itself.

We will start doing final edits on the script on the 15th. Other than that we have one major sprite left to do and then CGs.

Just wanted everyone to know that the script is complete.
We're undergoing final editing passes and ren'py/placeholder art tests over the next few days. Once it runs fine with placeholder art we'll be finishing the CGs/BGs for the game.

This is a CG preview and mysterious band poster~ featuring (from the top, left to right): Miss Murder, Aenima, Death Leopard.

Toko releases in two weeks now and we are pretty much 90% done with the game! Finishing BG and CG work and in a few days we'll be sending out beta tests to people who've been really supporting this project and getting the word out.

So even though it's free, we're endeavoring to put as much effort and polish into the final product as possible, get hype!

Thanks! It's important for Lupiesoft (and me by extension) to work as best we can. I was originally considering doing very basic art, substitute backgrounds, creative commons music but that didn't feel right for me. And the rest of Lupiesoft stepped up to pitch in, even though we're working on Dizzy Hearts. So even though I've spent many more weeks that I would have, I feel that it's worth it in the end.
