Story:

Set in a world where demons ferry the souls of humans destined to die to the afterlife, The Reject Demon: Toko is about the demon Toko who's been kicked out of Hell. Toko cannot ferry human souls to the underworld, and now on earth she finds herself becoming increasingly more human, much to her dismay. Her troubles however, are only beginning. Toko, now taken in by the human Nadia is chased by her past and the internal struggle inside herself. Toko is about comedy, romance and a Hell's sacred art of Rock n' Roll!

Age: unknown

Toko carries the embarrassing honor of being the only demon in Hell to reach adulthood as a zero-soul demon. That is, a demon that has ferried zero souls. It's this unfortunate circumstance that led her to being kicked out of Hell.

When she arrives in the human world for the first time, she notices what a cold place it is, and for the first time she's begun to get hungry. Beset by all sorts of human problems, she's also followed by her past, intent on making her life in the human world quite bothersome. On top of all this she has to deal with her own internal conflicts, everything seems to be shaping up to make Toko's life Hell on earth.





ナディア

Age: 22

Nadia meets Toko after she arrives in the human world. Supposedly she's supposed to be good at her studies, a college student or something, but she has an airy, head in the clouds personality. She doesn't seem to merely walk through life, but uncomplicatedly rebound off of things.

They say she's got a brain made of marshmallow-stuffing, and what makes matters worse for Toko is Nadia seems to be unabashedly gay, does she have ulterior motives for helping out her new friend? No one knows, not even Nadia.




ギンジョウ

Age: Unknown


Ginxhou is a gluttony demon who is ferrying souls on earth at the time of the story.

What her motivations are in this story remain unknown. She often comes across as emotionless but there is nothing she loves more than food. Even though she is tall and skinny, almost to a fault, she seems to have no limits on what she can eat.

Approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours long for average to slow reading speed. Toko is a short story with a very open-ended universe. It will be free to download on Feb 14th. TRD:Toko will contain ecchi themes and as such is rated pg-13

This sounds incredible. I really like the plot, it's simple yet interesting which usually leads to great nanorimo projects. Will be keeping an eye on this!

@Razz Thanks! DH is a fairly complicated story, it's hard to explain what it is without hours or a lot of text. With Toko I felt a really simple to understand (and explain), funny setting with more subtle depth was going to be best for a NaNiWriMo project.

@Were This is GxG, yuri so there will probably be light ecchi moments but it's different from Dizzy Hearts, It'll be rated around the pg-13 area.

Thanks! I'm glad you like it, I wish more people did GxG stuff, I'm seeing the amount of it go up each day so that's good. So I hope this will be interesting to people.

Another character reveal! It's the demon Ginxhou. When Toko arrives in the human world, Ginxhou is already there ferrying souls.


Age: Unknown
A demon of gluttony, when Ginxhou first arrived in the human world she found the smells and taste of it's food the most exciting thing about it.
When not ferrying souls, she's waiting for her appointments and can often be founding busking for food money.
It's hard to know what she's thinking, or if she even thinks at all. She seems very simple minded, the only time she seems to show emotion is regarding her obsession for food. Despite this she has a fairly cool and curious personality regarding the human world.

Her role in this story is fairly small but still quite pivotal!

Wow, this is a really interesting concept, with really awesome character designs! The eyes, goodness me, the eyesssss. Can I also be the first to say that Nadia looks asdgjk adorable ;;v;;. Pellatrix also seems to be shaping up to be quite the bombshell ( I love her eyes and her horns ovo). Your art style is beautiful!

I'm really curious as to how the story will pan out since the production period is quite a short time, and there seems to be a fair amount of story that needs to be told. Wishing you the best if luck, and I look forward to playing it!

Hah, well.. I tend to subconsciously think more than I should. But I plan to keep the story relatively simple for NaNiWriMo. I probably won't be able to make a 50k word goal with DH, real life and other factors going on. So there's more characters and history which won't be touched on, and it will mainly be about Nadia/Toko.

If people like it I wouldn't mind doing more stories like this!
