Falling Hearts is a free GxB otome slice-of-life visual novel from IaMeotomegames.

STORY
To 17-year-old Yuuki Kuro, life couldn’t get any more boring and typical. Day in and day out, she strives to find something exciting in this fleeting moment we call life. And what’s more exciting than falling in love for the first time?

I like the art style. It's so cute, cartoony, and yet lovable! :mrgreen:
The male character designs are really great-looking. 8)
Umm...one critique though. Takeshi looks like he has boobs. :oops: I think it's because of the curved lines near the button-up part of his jacket.

I'm so amazed at the amount of unlockable content in the game (64 CGs??? AND 15 custom tracks???). I think it's really cool!

I've been meaning to leave a comment here for a while now but never got around to it. I suppose now is a good a time as any. ^^ Hi ya'll! I'm currently the artist working on assets for Falling Hearts. So far all the sprites are complete and now I'm hard at work on designing the GUI for the game.

I'm happy everyone likes the art! Takeshi's sprite was one of the first done so he could use some touching up. Once the GUI is done I will go back and make adjustments to him. I definitely don't want it to look like he has boobs. ><

Thanks for your well wishes (I really appreciate it) and your honest critique (spoke with Kingv about it and as they've said above he shall be getting a touch up after the GUI is done)

First, let me say that the art is lovely. It's rather different from the usual anime-style sprites you usually see.

And, wow, that sure is a lot of work. Good luck! I'll be cheering you on~ :D

Depending on how married you are to your game's name, you might want to consider changing it or adding a subtitle of some sort to make the name stand out more in people's minds.

There's already two other commercial games named "Fa[something] Hearts" - it's sort of asking for confusion, unless you have a really funny logo with the tumbling/falling emphasized ('Tumbling Hearts' is amusing, but then that again sounds too close to 'Rumbling Hearts' which already exists!)

Sorry for taking so long to reply (but I got a bit scared)
I came up with the name falling hearts for two main reasons.
1-the common thought of what people do when to get into love is fall and they use their hearts to do it
2- it ties into my head world where the characters got their personality influences from (the world is called Fate of the Fallen)

This looks very nice ^^. I love all the art and GUI. It seems like a high quality game.

But I am a little confused about the secret characters. There are eleven characters in the game and nine of them are obtainable guys. All eleven characters are listed in the thread which means that all nine obtainable guys including (I assume) the secret ones have been shown. So I was wondering what makes the secret guys different from the regular guys?

thank you for your interest and in regards to your question
The secret characters take more to unlock (you have to play through the game at least once for one and several times for the other) that and they are the two older characters (somewhat more forbidden romances because of their roles in Yuu's life). hope that's understandable enough (my brains jumbly at time and not the best at explaining)

I think having some characters that are harder to win over is a good idea :]. Especially since there are quite a few paths in this game. It's nice to shake things up a bit for some of them.

Since they are secret characters maybe you should remove their sprites or bios so people won't know much about them until they get the game. Or maybe they could be called unlockable characters rather than secret characters since people know who they are but can't do their path until they unlock the option.

Well anyways I'm looking forward to seeing the progress for the game. I hope it all goes well.
