I'm trying I'd like to be able to have the game released by Halloween, which means I'm aiming for the Kickstarter to be in September, so the demo will have to be done by then. I've got all of day 1 coded, but I need the art elements (backgrounds, CGs, Opening movie, music, etc) because all I have right now are the sprites and placeholder art. I'm conversing with my crew to see if they can handle sticking to the deadline. I sure hope so!

Thanks for the encouragement, everyone! It really helps my level of drive to finish this game ^_^ I've announced that I will have teh game available for Halloween, so I'm going to try my hardest to stick to that goal!

Blaaah. As luck would have it, my CG-artist quit. So now I am tasked with finding a new CG artist... Wish me luck!

I FINALLY fixed a bug I was fighting for a few days. Yey! Now the coding can continue! I also (hopefully) found someone willing to do the CGs for the game! Wish me luck that she works out! There is a language barrier, but so far things are going well! Here's a sketch she sent me ^_^

Sorry for the lack of updates, but there's really been nothing to report. I'm just waiting on CGs at this point, but my last CG artist had to quit due to school :/ If anyone is interested, please let me know and send me some examples! I've posted a few 'hiring' ads, so wish me luck! 5th time's a charm, right...? @_@

Good news everyone! Today was a great day for CK progress!

*Got a new CG artist and our first sketch! Click here for the spoiler!
*Got more music for the game
*Fixed some 'flubs' in the art with characters wiggling around while changing emotions
*Made a Tumblr!
*Got my butt in gear and learned how to clean up my code, hence the LOWER number of lines, even though I've added more things (like the music xD). I have finished cleaning up about 1/4 of the code so far, the rest will be done tomorrow.
