Story
Who are you? Are you real? Do you exist?
Althernis Precasted takes place in an unstable world, brimming with magic. At the center of it all, a guild called the Pacifist Alliance Organization maintains the balance of the world, to stop it from crumbling into nothingness.
A pair of siblings, a girl who wishes to find her past and a boy who wishes to find his future, seeks to join this prestigious guild. Yet, things are not what they seem, and the paths which they perceived as so bright and glorious ahead of them are darker than they thought...
Play as Lenarche and Lazarus as they seek to uncover the truth behind the people around them, the guild, and ultimately the world itself. You will grow stronger, but will you use your powers wisely? You will make friends, enemies, and maybe even find love. But will you know who you can truly trust?
The Guild System
The Guild, also known officially as the Pacifist Alliance Organization, is a large, prestigious organization that maintains the stability of the world of Fantasia, and members also take care of various missions which range from helping civilians to highly confidential, world-fate-deciding missions. Recruits are put through a stringent test procedure to determine who can join as a new member in an annual selection process which consists of three stages. Successful recruits will be slotted into the following divisions:
Spellcasters
People specializing in magic, like healing, destructive forces, alteration spells, etc. Since magic is such a broad subject, they are further divided to several sub-divisions like the alteration mages, the destructive mages, healers, and several others. Many of the healers also specialize in improving their comrade’s skills in the nick of battle (increasing speed and defense), making them a perfect “support group”. They’re usually sent out for missions with delicate matters, like acting as a spy and investigating places.
Fighters
People specializing in fighting, and is the most popular division (due to many of the people lacking magical abilities). Members of this division are trained a little further on using certain other weapons, but a certain few who fights with bare hands are also appreciated. They’re divided to a few sub-divisions: the stealth division (thief-type skills), force division (warrior-type skills), and the defense division (good with blocking; usually the bare-hand fighters get here). They usually get missions which require force or defense, like killing off a group of people or defending a certain caravan.
Diviners
The most unique of the divisions, they are the people that uses magic for hand-to-hand combat: making blades with raw energy, improving battle performance by spells, and technically being armed with an aplethora of weapons if the persons wills it with his/her magic; technically being both a fighter and a mage in a different way. Although it is a trademark ability by their division, they end up being easily weakened and defenseless. They usually get a mixture of different sorts of missions, but the missions are usually for those who actually have coin to hire them. Due to their numbers, they are quite few, but they last a lot longer than the rest with their abilities. They are usually paired up with a spellcaster or a fighter during missions due to their delicacy.
Researchers
As the name states, they research. They mostly look up stuff that improves the other division’s performances, like a new type of weapon, or a another type of spell, or another style of improving hand-to-hand combat with magic. Although focused on the education and analytical part of a force, they can also contribute to the offensive force via ranged weaponry like rifles or bows (which can be either enchanted or not), and a handful of them are actually great leaders and representatives since they are good with words. They are rarely sent to missions, but if they ever get one, those are the missions that require charisma, wit and strategy with little fighting involved. Although their strength lies in intelligence, they’re usually reserved for a last resort, being one of the most valuable divisions.
Characters
(Images below are merely concepts and not the final sprites.)
The Guild Hopefuls
Lenarche "Len" Seleniarius (17)

Height: 167 cm
Weapon of Choice: Sword
Len is the female protagonist, a human girl, and one of the characters you can choose to play as at the beginning of the game. She is Lazarus' adopted older sister, a generally carefree and laid-back village girl who was dragged by her brother to join the Guild. She hopes to join the Diviners division. Ace procrastinator and ultimate lazyass, she can be highly irresponsible at times, especially when not-so-important duties are concerned. She is skilled at most elemental magic, but you will have to choose her specialization later on.
Lazarus "Lazy" Seleniarius (16)

Height: 175 cm
Weapon of Choice: Flail/Morningstar
Lazarus is the male protagonist, a human boy, and one of the characters you can choose to play as at the beginning of the game. Lazarus is Len's younger brother, a boisterous and hilarious boy who has big dreams. Though lacking in magical ability, Lazarus is a capable fighter and dreams of joining the Fighters division. Contrary to his nickname, which on hindsight would be better suited for his sister, Lazarus is always bubbling with energy and initiative - though quite frequently on frivolous and ridiculous things. Such as wearing a badge on his forehead. Lazarus has a fondness for animals and you can help train his pet as well for use in combat.
Meliora Vanguardion (17)
Concepts coming soon!
Weapon of Choice: Staff
Height: 165 cm
Meliora is a gentle, beautiful and soft-spoken young lady, a half-elf, and the niece of the Guild Leader, Helberg Vanguardion. She possesses powerful healing abilities and dreams of becoming a Spellcaster, as both her elder brother and cousins are currently members of the Guild.
Seraphina Alfonsine (18)

Weapon of Choice: Rune Gun
Height: 164 cm
Seraphina is a silent, yet fiery young lady who is the daughter of the Spellcasters' Division Leader, Tara Alfonsine. She is rather mysterious in her behaviour and actions, and not particularly willing to participate in social activities. She hopes to become a powerful Spellcaster just like her mother.
Ignitio Restalia (16)
Height: 160 cm
Ignitio is a young human boy who hopes to join the Researchers. He is very studious and creative, coming up with various designs and gadgets in his early life.
Fir Betrand (17)
Concepts coming soon!
Height: 162 cm
Fir is a happy-go-lucky, ex-acrobat who wishes to become a Fighter. She made quick friends with Lenarche, sparked by her bubbly attitude.
Guild Leaders
Zephyr Vanguardion (17)

Height: 167 cm
Weapon of Choice: Double swords
Zephyr is a Class S Diviner, and hence the leader of the Diviners division. Though he possesses a rather sour and cynical attitude, he takes his job very seriously. Being the youngest out of all division leaders, and also being the son of the Guild Leader Helberg Vanguardion, many suspect the latter of nepotism.
Helberg Vanguardion (40)
Helberg is Zephyr's father, and the Guild Leader. He is also known as the Boundary Guardian - the one chosen to maintain the stability of Fantasia. As a result, his life is considered by all to be the "most precious" in the entire world, for if he dies, the Boundary will crumble and the world will be destroyed. Helberg is currently working on transferring his abilities to his only son, Zephyr, so that he can continue his legacy.
Severin DuGray (28)
Weapon of Choice: Knives
Severin DuGray is Helberg's loyal right-hand man, a night elf (navandel), and a Class A Researcher. He has been referred to as the Assistant Boundary Guardian.
Tara Alfonsine (36)
Weapon of Choice: Staff
Tara is Seraphina's mother, an elf who is also the Guild Leader of the Spellcasters.
Brutus Roughknight (45)
Weapon of Choice: Sword
Brutus is the father of Nero and Meliora, and the Guild Leader of the Fighters. Nero and Meliora take after their mother's surname.
Jennah Zanarkand (30)
Jennah is a princess of Seldrus-Valdrox, and the Guild Leader of the Researchers.
Existing Guild Members
Nero Vanguardion (20)
Concepts coming soon!
Weapon of Choice: Sword
Nero is Zephyr's cousin, a half-elf and a Class B Fighter. Being Meliora's elder brother, he is very protective of her.
Forte Xaverius (19)

Weapon of Choice: Spellbook
Forte is a distant cousin of Zephyr and Nero, a Class B Spellcaster and a military mage. The three of them are very good friends and often hang out together, despite being in different Divisions.
Alviss Tribe (19)
Concepts coming soon!
Weapon of Choice: Crossbow
Alviss is a pleasant, attractive young man, a nomad and a Class C Diviner. He is very friendly, and often seen together with a fellow Class-C, Aimee Andrey, though he denies any theories about them "being together".
Aimee Juno Andrey (16)

Weapon of Choice: Trident
Aimee is a quiet, rather shy young girl who is rather attached to Alviss. Despite her appearance, she is a capable Class C Diviner.
Avalon Tribe (19)
Weapon of Choice: Spear
Avalon is Alviss' elder twin brother who possesses a distinctly more cranky and grumpy attitude than his younger sibling. Unlike his brother, who specializes in mostly healing magic, Avalon is a Class A Fighter who hopes to become Division Leader one day.
Prince Albel Zanarkand (20)
Albel Zanarkand is the half-navandel crown prince of the most powerful kingdom in the region, Seldrus-Valdrox, and a fellow Class A Fighter and good friend of Avalon's.
Marissa Gricelle (18)
Weapon of Choice: Spellbook
Also known as the Guild Idol, Marissa is a stunningly beautiful and attractive young woman who holds the record number of love letters received per year. Even then, Marissa is not interested in a relationship after her breakup with Forte in the past, and focuses much on her role as a Class B Spellcaster.
Marine Gricelle (18)

Marine is Marissa's younger twin sister, a Class B Researcher. She is also the head of the Guild newspaper department, always interested in searching for new scoops. She is Shea's best friend.
Shea (18)

Weapon of Choice: Rune Gun
Nobody really knows much about Shea, much less his surname. He is often a loner, but funnily enough makes quick friends with Lazarus due to their similar personalities. Though he is merely a Class C Spellcaster, the Great Leader Helberg seems to have taken an interest to him.
Guild Partners/Employees
Euphemia "Euphie" de'Renquold (16)

Euphie is the younger child of the noble de'Renquold family, which is a partner and sponsor to the Guild. As a result, the de'Renquolds visit the Guild frequently, acting as some kind of auditor, Euphie included. Euphie is charismatic and well-mannered despite her young age, and is extremely interested in the inner workings of the Guild.
Eugenus "Eugene" de'Renquold (18)
Concepts coming soon!
Eugene is Euphie's older brother, a studious young man who is particularly interested in the field of military strategy. He is easily paranoid, however, and rather reclusive.
Fey "Feys" Morillo (19)

Fey is the daughter of the Guild Chef, Alfredo Morillo, and hence Zephyr's cousin on his mother's (Freyja Morillo's) side. She is a bubbly young girl who is older than she looks.
Renee Skylar (20)
Renee is a guild employee in charge of the missions desk in the Guild, a nomad as well. She is capable, kind, and a big sister figure to many of the younger members of the Guild.
Stephanius and Marigoldia de'Renquold (Around 40)
Stephan and Marigoldia are the parents of Eugene and Euphie. Both of them are affiliated with Helberg Vanguardion.
???
Agnes Forest(40+)
A devout priestess from the Essence Shrine. She is rather mysterious, and seems to know a lot about the true structure of the world.
Oswald and Cheryl Leingold (???)
Also known as the Gods of Fantasia, some consider them merely a myth, and some truly believe in their existence. It is generally known, however, that they were the ones who try to keep the world stable by employing a Boundary Guardian every generation to maintain order. The Boundary Guardian is always chosen from the Vanguardion family for reasons unknown.
Thanos (???)
Thanos is Oswald's other self, a being which Oswald has sought to keep under containment for a long time. In the past, Thanos has almost destroyed the world once, contributing to the already crumbling instability of the world. Since then, Thanos has disappeared, and is thought to be a myth.
The God of Time (???)
A strange cloaked figure whom some people claim to have seen on the streets at night. Sometimes claiming to be a merchant, sometimes claiming to be a wanderer - nobody knows who he is, or what his purpose is.
