Christmas Eve, 1998. Ichabod, meek as any young man can be, stumbles upon a bed and breakfast in the middle of nowhere. The “Heilbronner Hof”. Four isolated strangers meet there and are changed - but for better or for worse?

Gods of Nowhere is a game with dating sim elements, allowing each of the four characters to form bonds (Companionship) with the others, leading to new dialogue and scenes.

The premise and art style are catching I can't say much until I play the demo so will comment once I've finished it.

Friendship is an important theme for me. If the main character has goals other than "choose favorite love interest," then I'll be inclined to like the character.

Not to be redundant, but I definitely noticed the art. I'm uncertain how to describe it... the best term I can think of is "modern cartoon or webcomic." I like it, and it should help make the characters look distinct from each other.

On the script so far:

1. A character walks around thinking, with a gun. Since I'm not sure why the person's armed, the scene is suddenly tense.

2. It seems this is a story about adults, and the setting of Boston seems authentic.

3. Some characters should curse quite a bit in dialogue and inner monologue. It's believable. Just make sure that not *everyone* comes across as Sir Swears-a-lot.

Your art reminds me most immediately of Nargyle's, with something else I can't place, but which seems very familiar. Do you have a tumblr?
