There was a thread for this long ago, but that one was cluttered with legal questions and threats and dogfights and what not (combined with my scattered updates...) so I made a new thread to start fresh.

Legal details will be covered along with some screenshots from screenshots from our artist's workshop!
So...
I. Legal.
The below link displays explicit permission for production of an unofficial fangame. You can download the original game at http://www.junipersknot.dischan.org.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ema8v4pxzo5l0wr/Proof.jpg
II. Progress.
i. Script-Paused at 40%, intensive editing in progress
ii. Artwork-
a. Backgrounds.
Which became
And
Lastly
b. Characters.
iii. A website is also under production. Current stage: Button production and HTML body layout.
III. Kickstarter.
Not started...
but it will be when the first arc gets completed.
Comments, suggestions and questions are always welcomed

After all, that's what I'm here for!
Good news! All updates to this project will now permanently remain on this thread.

Looks incredible. If the writing is as good as the artwork, you'll have a fantastic game on your hands.

Thank you

I'll post the script when I lock it (as in, I won't edit it anymore because I need to force myself to move on)

*Sigh* Actually......
There is a possibility that I might put this on hold.
I just can't seem to find an artist who can minic Doomfest's style. Because this is a sequel, after all, we need similar art quality. Most manga/anime artists on DeviantART have cell-shading styles compared to doom's brushpainting style on Paint tool SAI and Photoshop.
I'm contacting more artists and requesting samples though, and am working on the script. The website is also under design, so hopefully I can make a more positive update next time!

Each artist have their own style, no one is similar to the other. Not to say painting style like Doomfest is even harder to mimic. If this is a fangame then I think it's fine if you find a unique style of your own and make the game in, there is no need for you to try and find an artist who can mimic the original game's style. It will be a waste of time.
It's best to just find a good artist that will stick to you till the end and let them draw the arts for you. Their style will define your game, as a FANGAME, not a REAL sequel to the original game.
