(I'm quite happy that you guys like the designs, especially Claire's! I really want to have a sort of decorative look, while still looking... realistic/actually useable.)

Writing (for the demo) has been coming along great! I just have to write another scene, pad up everything, and then cut off the excess, haah.

To make this post slightly more pretty, here's the new concept art for Kowen and Icario (who, I have not finished yet, haha).

Time for another update!

Writing:
I haven't updated the rough drafts since the last update, due to finals! I'll get to it next week, though.

Most likely, I'll finish the demo's first draft by then, and then it's onto editing!

I meant to show this off last week, but I entirely forgot to put it in! It's pretty great to listen to, in my opinion. Of course, there are other ones that sound pretty epic, but sadly, I'll have to keep them hidden.

I... I wanted to start on backgrounds for the demo/prologue, but as I said earlier, finals and whatnot. So, here are some concepts of a few characters!

Silver Tongue's part of the Manituk Kingdom, and as you could probably tell from his nickname, he's quite the smooth-talker. (He looks like Tidus if you look from far away.)
The Golden Lion is from the Helitan Kingdom. He's a pretty famous knight, well-known for his courageous deeds. (He looks kinda derpy at the moment, but I'll fix it later!)



(Also, I drew a cute picture of Kowen and Claire, if you wanna see.)

I'll update again next week, I suppose. :P

That project sounds fantastic!

The art is original and beautiful, the characters seem interesting so far, and so does the plot. I may have missed something, but what does the 3/20 at the end of the title mean?

@filiaa: Thank you! I'm trying to make a distinct style to the art-style, so hopefully it's working, haha.

Well, 3/20 was the last time I updated the main post. I would've written something like "last updated 3/20" but the title is too long. :P

OH I really love the art also and the character designs! The story sounds very interesting too <3

Update for April 9th!

Question! Is there anything that you'd like to learn more of? (We've done quite a bit of backstory/setting, but I don't want to write too many walls of text, so!)

Writing Update: Prologue's first draft is finally done, haha. I just need to revise it with Butler, and then I'll try to clean/refine it as much as possible while working on backgrounds.

Art Update: (There's a lot of guys in the cast so far, but there are definitely enough girls to make it about 50/50! I just haven't drawn them nice character sheets yet, haha.)

Here's concept art for Claire's squire outfit (slightly simplified). I-I went too far with making her face feminine in the colored one, but she's supposed to look like a feminine guy!

I love your art~! I played A Simple Love Story awhile back and adored it. This one looks great so far! You have a keen eye for detail. Gonna watch this thread!
