Progress is going well! Still post-processing those voice files. Here's a rough idea of how far I am into processing:

Voice Post-Processing Progress

• Anna: 100%
• Mikaela: 99% - just need that single redo from VA!
• Tristina: ~50-60% - currently working on her lines
• Aurelia: 0% - not processed yet, waiting for redos / rest of lines
• Julia: 0% - not processed yet, waiting for redos / rest of lines
• Ryne: 0% - not processed yet, although I received all the lines

Also I'm going to push the release date back to around early 2015, considering I have a whole lot more to do. Of course that's subject to change.

No, this project isn't dead! Although it's a bit slow, Cafe Memoria is progressing nicely. Still post processing the voice files, but we're getting there!

• Character art: 90% (thinking about commissioning more artwork)
• Music: 95% (need to tweak stuff)
• Programming: ~75% (testing, and need to add in the voices)
• Voices: ~70% (waiting on the last bits of recordings, as well as post-processing)

Lemme get a stab at them questions (some of them; I haven't played the demo yet):

•What do you like about the story and characters?
I think it's actually kinda unique for a slice-of-life. n__n I mean, you're making an adorable game out of a small life situation, it's cute. =) And adding on the various different personalities of the characters, I can tell the game's going to be interesting. =)

•How can they be improved?
I'm not sure what to put here; all of it seems to be going great right now. =D

•Which character looks most interesting?
I think Anna is the prettiest and Tristina looks the coolest.
Mikaela reminds me of a character off of the manga "Food Wars", and I'm not actually fond of that character. >__>

•How about the system?
Erm..."I'm not a part of your system!"--Lonely Island
Lol, jk, I'm just not sure I understand the question.

•What's exciting about this project?
It's unique, it seems fun, the artwork is great, and overall it seems like a cute game. ^3^

•Would you like to eat at Cafe Memoria? Who do you want to serve you?
Well, I don't really eat at places based on waitresses. >__> The awesomeness of food is really important to me. Then again, I'm also a straight female, so maybe that's why my waitresses don't really interest me based on their looks.
Personality of a waitress matters to me. When I go to eat somewhere, the treatment by my waitress/waiter is important. So based on personality, I'd want to be served by Julia. She seems sweet and calm. =)
Aurelia reminds me of the character Brittany from the "Daria" series: beautiful, but oh-so-stupid, and those types of people usually get an eyeroll from me.
Since I'll be playing as a male, Tristina might not treat me the best based on the description you wrote of her, so I'd wanna avoid her.
I already mentioned why I'm not into Mikaela. =P
And I feel Anna's too shy for me to feel comfortable getting served by her. Clumsy waitresses are also sometimes accidental mess-makers, and since I'm super painfully shy in real life, the last thing I'd want is for my food/drink to get spilled and call attention to myself. xD

•Any other questions / comments / concerns?
I'm SUPER excited for this! =D You are awesome for making this game! n__n
Also, I enjoy eating pancakes. =) I just wanted to mention that.

I think I mean if the system sounds interesting or something like that. Picking your food, drinks, rating the waitress, etc...

She is pretty nice, though, despite the air-headedness.

Ah, thanks for clarifying about "the system" (heh-heh, sounds like a government conspiracy name xD). The system sounds pretty good. I like that I get to order my own stuff and interact with the waitresses. =)

And yeah, Brittany in "Daria" was pretty nice too, but ugh, the stupidity was really annoying. Of course, her character was satirizing people in society who are actually like that, so I probably shouldn't use a satire character to compare to your character. Sorry about that! x)

The character from Food Wars' name is "Erina". She's not protective of the main character as your character is, but idk, maybe it's the impatience part of the personality that reminds me of Erina.

Lol, of course Anna deserves a chance to be more confident! I wasn't really dissing her, I was just justifying my reasons for not picking her. I have no problem with her actual personality. I just feel that, in a real life scenario, I'd be totally freaked out and nervous because I'm so shy and awkward, so her and I wouldn't have a good meeting experience. xD

Some status update:
I've tested the voices in-game, and it turned out they weren't... loud enough. So I'm in the middle of re-post processing all five girls' lines. Already redid Anna and Mikaela's, and in the middle of Tristina's lines. Also pushing the release date to mid 2015.

To the voice actresses:
No need for retakes! I just processed them wrong! >_<
