So I was doing dishes with my fiance telling him about this project and I remembered this:
(Does that disqualify this game from being considered an otome game? I've been wondering this.)
Well, to be safe you could always call it a BROtome game, depending on the players. XP But if the game is at all targeted towards a stereotypical "female audience," it's considered otome from what I've heard. So I think it'll be okay. Unless you use "bro" as a gender neutral term like I do, haha.

Okay, bad puns done, I'm going back to the sidelines to cheer you on. :P

I'd play this just for him XD

The art is amazing as well!
You're too sweet!!! I've been fascinated with object heads ever since I first saw one. There's something mysterious about them... Thank you for your interest!!

Omg, brotome?! I'm laughing so hard, I've never heard that term before LOL!! I love it!
The style of the game is meant to appeal to the general "female" audience, but of course, that's subjective! I like the term "otome game" because it sounds so sweet and pure to me (even though that's not always the case -laughs- ). Thank you for supporting me!!

Nothing interesting to show at this time. I really need to start drafting images for buttons, save/load screens, preferences, all that fun stuff... I'm dreading it because GUI is boring and hard. In the meantime, I'm working on writing for Calisto.

Oh, by the way, I now have the wonderful Noah Hafford on board for doing a theme song and Mutaharu for editing an opening sequence. Yay!

Also, some extremely cropped, extremely rough sketches for Krystoff's route's CGs.

Not looking forward to inking these... (screams)

LOL, I'm so sorry GUI!!! I had to redraw the dialogue box four times before I was happy with it... Not fun at all for me...... I might be an artist, but design is certainly a weak area..................... I'll definitely post wips once I get around to it, though. I'll need criticisms and feedback for sure.

I like Rafael, Krystoff, and Cassius. Rafael especially sounds pretty interesting. ;) And Cassius sounds like the sweet type of person you can't help but admire. n__n I also like Jun's character design. :)
I like your artwork, and this game as a whole sounds like a pretty cool concept. 8)

One thing I wanted to comment on: Based on your proposed way of doing the gameplay, wouldn't it be good to have a skip button for the prologue? That way, people who already know what character they want next can just skip through and get to the plot. I keep up with a lot of game reviews, and one of the biggest complaints I find is when there is a lack of a skip button. Personally, I don't mind reading through the texts again because I like reading and immersing myself in the game, but some people don't really care about that and want to unlock the rest of the character stories.
Idk, just a thought.

Thank you so much!!! I'm happy you're interested in the characters already =)

And hey, I'm really glad you brought up the prologue skip button! I'm actually planning on popping in a route persistent at the end of every route that will allow the player to skip the prologue once they've completed at least one route. It'll drop them right at the "which route will you take" menu, and that way, you don't have to go through the prologue six times. Woohoo! I'm glad we're on the same page there =D

It's impossible not to be drawn by those character designs, especially the piano head guy XD! Creative titles like these are always welcome. Looks like you've already got a few CGs going, too. Good luck with the project :).

Thank you so much!!!!! I'm happy the character designs are eye-catching!!

As for a progress report, Calisto's third chapter is almost done♥ comin' up fast on this writing progress!! Gonna put character portraits on hold while I teach myself the scary world of LiveComposite. I think it would really benefit me to know it.

Also worked out the kinks for a personality quiz the player can take at the end of the prologue, to determine which boy suits you best.

I just played through the demo, and I really like how it's looking so far! I didn't catch any typos or anything, so the writing side of things seems just fine-- though I only did one run so there are some dialogue options I didn't see. The pace of the opening is really good, I like how it gave enough time with each guy that you got a grasp of his personality, without spending so long on them that I got bored having to sit through the characters I wasn't so interested in. It was also nice having the note at the end saying which character's path I would've been on had I been playing the full game-- I apparently would've been on Calisto's, which was what I assumed from the choices I had made, but having that heads up for when the full game comes out was good (since I can make a beeline straight for my guy of choice, ohoho).

I can't think of any major criticism to offer, all up! The art is all consistent, the GUI is nice, and the characters are likeable enough that even the ones I'm not that interested in playing the paths of I was enjoying the scenes with. I'm looking forward to seeing the full release, and playing through more of Calisto, Shawn and Kristoff in particular. Nice stuff!

I just played through the demo and it was very nice and cute :) The opening had a perfect length and you had the time to learn about the characters so you could form an opinion about them and decide which paths you want to play. Thanks for the demo and looking forward for the full release~
Meep.

I loved the demo.
I liked literally all of the characters(especially Calisto and Shaun), which surprised me, as I expected to dislike at least Shaun or Krystoff. All of the characters seem very interesting, so I'm excited to playthrough all of the routes once the full game is released.

Thank you so much for the feedback!!! I'm really happy you were all able to enjoy it. I really wanted the prologue to be a good chance for the player to familiarize themselves with all the characters before making a decision. I'm glad it was able to accomplish that!!!
