Missed the last 3 days due to going to a wedding, but here's today's character:
Pharrell Triton
Pharrell Triton is your boss, a very charming and debonair lawyer. He's helped your through law school, and proud to see you graduate with honors. He certainly cares for Regeria, and he will respect any choice she makes, even if it's one that he will not agree with. He believes that Regeria should have her own path, and won't influence your choices in any way. However, your choices will affect how he reacts to you.

G'Day all, here's today's character.
Hawk Shaw
Hawk is a good cop caught in a corrupt system. While he dresses like a shady character, he will do what he can to ensure justice is served, as long as his pay doesn't get docked. He has a strange definition of fun, but once he thinks you're a good egg, you'll be glad you have him on your side.
In other update news, I've almost finished customizing the menu screens. I think they are looking pretty spiffy now.
I guess as a question, how customized do people like their menu screens? I've got the buttons and bars and everything looking different, but I'm not sure how useful it would be to change the layouts of the screens around. Does anyone notice? Is it a good thing, or a bad thing to move the preferences and save menus around?
Anyone else have any thoughts on the game, any feedback would be welcome. I think there's been about 40 downloads of the game now.

I like it! I think there's a lot of potential with your idea. Looking forward to your work. Keep it up!

Thanks for the kind words Champignonkinoko!
Here's today's character:
Brock 'En Hart
Brock is a goofy kindhearted guy that you don't really know much about. After his wife's death, he is absolutely distraught, which leads him to do some incredibly stupid things.

G'Day all, here's today's character:
Justine Facts
Justine is a very determined reporter. she seems to hold a grudge against Regeria for something, but Regeria has no idea why. She is constantly taking photos of people she is interviewing.

Thanks very much, that's really nice of you to say!
Hoping to have the demo updated with a new GUI and all the sounds set up correctly soon. Will have a new character uploaded later today.
For people that have tried the demo, I have a few questions:
1. First impressions? Who do you think the murderer is, and why? Can you figure out the motive yet?
2. Is the game easy enough to understand how to play? Were there parts of the GUI you tripped up on?
3. Did you like being able to skip the tutorial sections by saying you didn't need help?
4. Were the testimony rebuttal sections too hard? Too easy? Just right?
Thanks for your time!

It's been a while. I had to rebuild my computer, but I'm back!
Here's today's character:
The Judge
The Judge is more concerned with his own enjoyment of the trial than the accused's fate. While this is callous, he loves surprises more than anything, and will allow Regeria to present any argument she wants, usually because something exciting is bound to happen. As long as it doesn't get in the way of his lunch....
Hoping to have an updated version of the demo available tonight. There will be new transitions, new fonts, and new menu screens, so I'm hoping it will look much better to everyone.

Ok, the demo has now been updated, but you know when you've made some changes, and you realize with a tiny tweak here and there, your work will look so much better? That's happening now. I'll probably have an even better demo update tomorrow. Mostly wanting to put frames in the Case Notes, and maybe make the judge's interruptions more imposing.
Check out the new demo if you have the chance! Let me know what you think, as I can probably change it to suit you better. People will hopefully notice I've taken comments on board with the GUI, and I'm hoping the font change is noticeable.
Here's today's character, which is the final character I'll be able to show. I guess I'll have to start writing about game mechanics next, if people are interested. Let me know and I'll add more posts.
Hemming Changer
The waiter that brought the wine up to the wedding party. Not a whole lot is known about him, and he really has no idea why he should even be involved in the trial. All he did was bring up the wine?
I'm hoping to have the rest of the GUI tightened up tonight, and there should be new sound effects coming in very soon. So there should be a demo version of the demo very soon. I've changed the host of the demo so now you shouldn't be getting malicious warnings when you download it as well.
This game looks great! One thing about the character sprites though - the main colours are a bit unsaturated, and make it hard to make out the clothes.
Thanks ColaCat. With the sprites, are you talking about the characters in black, or all of them? I'd be interested to hear which characters need a touch up.
Also, the demo has been updated again. All GUI changes are done, so everything should look a lot cleaner, and there should be less bugs.
All of them to be honest. Except Brock, Justine and Artemis. It's not that they're not good, it's just that they're a bit saturated, so you feel your eyes drawn to them - instead of the whole of the character.
