I'm back! IRL stuff is finally falling into place, so I can continue progress on C&C. I've been working on it for...a year? To be fair, I spent about one month in total seriously sick and another two months not working on C&C at all...either way, I'm getting back to work now. :D

Thank you! (You mean the confetti?) I hope to put more scenes like that in the visual novel.
sakurakimuchi wrote:Seriously, your art is just AMAZING it is drop dead gorgeous, I am not even joking. And as if that wasn't enough to make me want to play this game, the plot (which to me is the most important, essential part of every single game) is mind blowing! I don't usually go for KNs but I really want to play this one.
And like every person here, I am interested in the Doctor and in the mysterious guy. But Kay's design is really cute too, I really liked her clothes.
Ahhhh, you're making me blush! Thank you! <3 Kay's design seems to be popular, so I guess I did something right.

^Thank you!

Merry Christmas, everyone. I've been with my family for the holidays, so I'm working on wrapping up the sprites in January.

Can I just say how much I love the overall look of this? Carnival style is one of my favorite things.

I'll second the above, I've never been to a true carnival (where I live they don't really exist, like, we have 'em but pretty small and no big deal) but the whole style/look is gorgeous, and your art is stunning! Hope you had a good start of 2016. :D

@mysticichigo and sakurakimuchi: Thanks, both of you!

Sprites are for the most part complete, but now comes the painful process of formatting them and splicing (facial expressions, arms, etc.). So not much to report right now.

Hey, folks. Just a small announcement that progress for this month has been halted due to work on my NaNoRenO project. That is all!
EDIT: April 2016 - NaNoRenO is over! Unfortunately I was not able to finish, so I'll continue work on C&C.

May update! Nothing to show, but the sprites are completed. I am now exporting, optimizing, and programming them. Shame on me for not making them around the same scale when I started drawing them months ago...that has been adding a lot of time on the whole process. At least I'll remember that for next time. My goal is to get them all programmed by this time next week.

Hi folks! And Happy Labor Day for those who live in the U.S.! I've been working on thumbnails for the backgrounds, currently 7/15. Here is some progress on a few of them.

I still have a long way to go! But every small bit of progress makes me feel good. My goal is the finish the remaining thumbnails this holiday weekend.

Your background thumbnails look cool so far! (way better than mine... I made like the worst thumbnail sketches ever for my background artist XD;;; ) and your character arts are so gorgeous! I love your coloring and style especially, so bright and expressive. The costumes are so wonderful! (I'm a huge costume nerd.)

I really look forward to seeing even more!

I agree with Lizard, the thumbnails are really great and show a lot of promise, just like all your character sprite designs. As a matter of fact, I feel like you design aesthetic is very inventive, creative, and honestly, refreshing. Its very unique and so different from anything else here right now.

The overall theme just screams "cool" and fun. Who wouldn't be a fan of some good old-fashioned knights, carnivals, and medieval type environments that are pulled off with such style?

Would love to see you post more about this project!
