Thank you, Googaboga!

Nothing much to report this week other than wrapping up Raj's sprite. After that will be a big sigh of relief - that means all of the MCs will be completed, and I can move on to minor characters (who only have one outfit each...seriously, the multiple outfits is what has been taking this so long!)

Raj's sprites are just about done! Gotta change the overlays with the arms/hands...

I am now finished with all of the main characters! I'll be working on the minor ones now.
I need to figure out that coding where you won't have to input individual sprites and can just interchange their poses and expressions...stuff to do!

Update of the week! Knocked out the merchant's sketch is quick time!

Thank you! He was a blast to draw- I love drawing different body types.

I'll be out for about a week or two on vacation, so no updates until then.

I came over to take a look at yours, and from the GUI to the backgrounds and character sprites, EVERYTHING LOOKS GREAT! The story sounds awesome, with an interesting take on the 'transported into my own thoughts' trope. Can't wait to see more

Thank you! I'm working hard to have a good length demo that looks nice. I hope I don't disappoint!

Update for this week: Continuing work on other character sprites. From left to right as I like to call them: No-Nonsense, I Am Not Amused, and Umbridge-In-Training.

I never finished the Mysterious Gentleman's other outfit, so here it is.

Very dashing.

Only a few more sprites to go and I'll be done with them! Did a rough of another side character - I finalized his colors so I can work from there.


Note to future self- do all of your roughs first, tfollowed by all the lineart, THEN all the colors. Lessons learned. It's a quicker, streamlined process which I should have started with ages ago. There is no reason for sprites to take me longer than expected. (Although I did redo about half the cast, so...)

Thank you! C&C is loosely drawing from both 16th century Ottoman Empire and 16th century Italian Renaissance for costumes and architecture (with a fantasy twist)

Thanks! Picking color palettes is my favorite part of making character designs.

I'm making an announcement: C&C is going to be on a short hold while I prepare to move into a new apartment.

Very pretty. I love that animated design with the leaves.

Seriously, your art is just AMAZING it is drop dead gorgeous, I am not even joking. And as if that wasn't enough to make me want to play this game, the plot (which to me is the most important, essential part of every single game) is mind blowing! I don't usually go for KNs but I really want to play this one.
And like every person here, I am interested in the Doctor and in the mysterious guy. But Kay's design is really cute too, I really liked her clothes.
