It's true some on here might think the high school plot is a bit cliche, but personally I don't mind at all. I know many will like this game. It seems really interesting. I like how for Julian you make it that he and the main character are rivals, or at least on her side XD. What I would say for you is that it's okay if the plot isn't too original or if some parts are cliche to you. It's your first game. However, if you wanna change things up, you've got a head start =). My only thing is that you have many characters for a first time and I'll tell you making games isn't easy, especially if you're doing the art and story =(. But if you're dedicated and motivated, I'm sure you can do it. Just take your time and think the story out the best you can, and don't hesitate to ask for help.

Also, I wouldn't mind sexy scenes XD. And I don't mind a lgbt option. Anyway, I wish you luck with your first game, and I'll definitely keep tabs on this =).

Surprise me! ovo I don't know what genre your game is, but if it's comedy, I love to laugh, so... funny scenarios? Or touching scenarios, if there's drama is part of the game.

types of simple mini games (not puzzel games but minigames)

I personally don't like minigames in my VNs. It breaks my immersion in the game. Unless you think of something really cute and unique and fits the scenarios of the game. Though to be honest, I have a soft spot for all cooking minigames. >v>

I believe that once you start to add more characters, your plot will develop more, that's kinda what happened with my visual novel. Once I added another character, my plot and even the genre of my game changed all together xD
Don't worry about being too original. I've seen a bunch of Alice in Wonderland inspired games on here, and it's hard to make those original, I feel like you can do more with just a general setting like a high school ^-^ but that's just my opinion.
