Story
This is my first attempt at a Otome game so I've kept the story quite simple, A girl starts at a new school which requires everyone to join a club, with only one having space she's forced to join with some unusual characters, determined to find out the secrets of the other club members she gets closer and closer to them, slowly developing feelings.
Characters
Haruka - Kistune
Haruka is the most friendly of the members, or so he seems. He gives off an outgoing atmosphere while showing glimpses of a darker side he's keeping hidden, his deep hatred for humans comes from his tragic past, he dreams of becoming a nine tailed fox so he can finally return home to the spirit realm. He may have deep hatred within him but he eventually warms to the player, maybe she becomes the exception to his opinion on humans.
Tetsuya - Tengu
Playboy, is the harshest towards the player, making it very clear he doesn't want her to join the club. He's from one of the noble families of the spirit world and is very proud of this and his heritage which is what causes him to look down on humans and why he is such a playboy. Although cold he can be charming and flirtatious to everyone other than the player it would seem. Player is determined to prove to him humans are just as good as Tengu.
Sora - Ghost
Sora has no memories of his life, he can barely remember how long he's been the way he has, this confusion causes him to be withdrawn and quiet, having barely any presence. He's sweet and defends the player against the other two feeling having warmed to her straight away. However, is Sora really what he seems?
I was thinking of taking the story down the pathway of him being in a coma in the local hospital where the player would visit if she chooses his pathway, opinions?

Questions
I've got an introduction scene and up to the first choice, I have some idea of where I plan to go with the story and each characters pathway but want peoples opinions before I start working on it, so if people could let me know:
1. What do you like/dislike about the characters?
2. What would you change about them?
3. What character people prefer
4. Where do you think I should take the storyline?
5. As I'm not great at art, should I find someone to do the CGs or should I try myself?
Any general tips for a first timer?
