I have a sinking feeling there's going to be some glaring error that was missed, but we'll hope for the best. There were five testers including myself so hopefully we got all the bugs and grammatical mistakes!

Time: 1:40 min to 2 hours
Features: 6 CGs, 13 clothing items, 3 days of play/all of chapter 1

Did you enjoy it?

What was your favorite part?

How do you like the battle system? Were the right/wrong choices obvious, too subtle, or just right? Were there enough scenes? Did you find yourself with a lack of things to do? Were the scenes long enough?

Did you enjoy the clothing options? Were the story/mandatory scenes paced well?

Who is your favorite character?

Who did you start to romance? Were the romantic scenes paced well considering this is only the first chapter?

And I'd love to see screenshots of the outfits you guys put together!

Did you enjoy it?: Yes, very much! The story was great and the whole style is very unique. I'm anxious to find out what happens next! In fact, I'm almost upset that I played it; I don't usually play demos because I HATE waiting. It's the same when I read a book series. cx (Take that as a complement, by the way, I'm not ACTUALLY upset that I played the demo.)

What was your favorite part?: How do you like the battle system? Were the right/wrong choices obvious, too subtle, or just right?
I like the system; the timer is fair and I like the way we get advice from Aldrich but can choose whether or not to take it. Were there enough scenes? Did you find yourself with a lack of things to do? Were the scenes long enough?
The scenes were perfectly fine in length (and in quality, I might add)! I also liked the extra things to do that could be found while in the city by visiting all of the areas. Did you enjoy the clothing options? Yes, they were beautifully drawn! Lilié looks awesome in the Harlequin outfit! And fancy clothes with no shoes because who even cares Lilié's fabulous. Were the story/mandatory scenes paced well?
I thought so, although I've never been one to complain about long scenes so I might not be the best judge of this.

Who is your favorite character? ALL OF THEM. Seriously, everyone was super likable (excluding the last two that I fought, of course), and I loved seeing everyone's interactions with each other. I especially liked Siegfried because I expected him to be a jerk but he's actually super chill.

Wait wait wait I do have a favorite. Min. Min is 100% best character. (I'm dead serious he's adorable and I love it.)

Who did you start to romance? Were the romantic scenes paced well considering this is only the first chapter? I failed to romance either of them (as I usually do oops), but I'll play through again when I get the chance. I'm going for Natalia first, but I'll give my opinion on both after getting their romantic scenes.

Lastly, I did my usual spelling/grammar/typo nitpicking! Here's what I found: And they should be in chronological order, but I might have screwed up the last few

I tried to win the third battle like 10 times before reading the spoiler that said it was unwinnable though rip me

That book-delivering one had my mildly freaking out as I didn't realize I would have to remember the titles as well - but I got them all to the right place in one try!

Oh man I know what you mean about demo's, but I'm glad you decided to play it anyway! It makes me so happy to hear you enjoyed it.
Yes I tried to make the choices varied while still being sort of tactical xD Writing Aldrich's route is going to be... interesting, I'm pretty sure the choices won't remain the same so we'll see how that goes haha. I'm happy you liked the scenes ; ; The fancy clothes were my favorite to draw!

Oh my gosh Min xD Well I'm glad you like him! He's fun, I want to do more little scenes with him in future chapters >w<

Heh, I'm glad you didn't mind my corrections! c: It was no problem at all.

And... honestly, I completely lost track of time playing it (that's how immersive it was!) but my best guess would be around an hour and fifteen minutes.

Also, now that I've got some free time I'm going to try for romancing Natalia, so I'll post my thoughts on that as soon as I can make it happen. ^_^

So far it is the world building, and the random encounter whilst walking through the town, lol that book errand quest was brilliant ^_^.

How do you like the battle system? Were the right/wrong choices obvious, too subtle, or just right?
Since this is chapter one, the first battle can always be won, the second can be won or lost, and the third is always lost. The other chapters will have winning and losing outcomes for the battles, and they'll have more choices. They should increase in difficulty with each chapter.

It is nice, and I like the design behind it. The right/wrong choices might need a little reworking (scumming for the win! yay!). If you play a free willed character despite of [plot] and do your own thing well, rank 9 will be umm difficult to achieve.


Were there enough scenes? Did you find yourself with a lack of things to do? Were the scenes long enough?

A fully functional demo that did not leave me wanting for naught, the perfect amount for a try before you buy, definitely picking this up once it is released.

Did you enjoy the clothing options?
Yes, and need MOAR NAO1111!!!!!!11 Erh um yes, but I do humbly request a larger selection when time permits good sir!

There are moments where characters will comment on what you wear. Should I add more of this or did you have a lot of moments like that?
Yes, and I liked that touch. It added depth and realism to the game. I do have to state occasionally the game sets you back into your default wardrobe, like at the first scene at the inn.


Were the story/mandatory scenes paced well?

I found it fine, except for one little thing at the very begging where there was a wall of text that scrolled through with no breaks so I could read it, but other than that one glitch I am happy with what is presented.

Only done the GxG route it is kind of light teasing and . But I got the vibe she was straight until the aforementioned scene which kinda puts her into she might be curious category.

There are eventually paths in the game where rank 9 isn't the only objective they hope to achieve, so players will still be able to get to the end even if they play a free-willed character! And I'd say Natalia definitely falls into that category xD

Your first post in four years, what an honor Thanks so much for playing and commenting! I'm really glad you liked it. I've since fixed the resetting clothing thing, I apologize about that. Gotta upload the new version of the demo haha. I /think/ I know what wall of text you're talking about, and I'll get on fixing that!

So much has changed since the first demo! You've come far with this wah XD I especially liked the illustrations and screen directing before the fights! They set up the mood really well! The story now shows more depth too and I'm like "O.O" at finally begin to know what's the deal with Aldrich XD The world building has gotten more in-depth too with I'm really interested in that one!

I think there were enough scenes o.ob For the amount of scenes, it actually bothered me a bit that there wasn't a limit of how many scenes I can see before going back to the tent (at least I didn't hit any? O.O). It just felt like visiting all the locations in order, unlock more, repeat until there's nothing new and go back to tent. (Maybe it's just me but that felt a bit boring I'm sorry 8D I wanna replay and see what else I could have done in town etc)

@Demetis I always, always, manage to get the forever alone route first if there is one. cx It's been like two weeks since I played the demo and I STILL haven't managed to romance Natalia. (Admittedly, I haven't been playing every day, but still.) I think I know how to romance Aldrich, but... I wanted Natalia first aaaaah. cx I might cave and go for him anyway, lol.
