Oops, there are a few things to announce! Let's see... For one, we've found our new background artist! We got a few applicants but ultimately decided to go with Zydaline. Her work offers a nice blend of style and functionality. Check out the style test that she did for us:

There probably won't be any of her work in the demo, just because of how close that is to completion, but we'll show off what we can on the Kickstarter when that launches.

Our other big piece of news is that a few of us are going to be at Anime Expo this year! You can catch us at Sekai Project's table a lot of the time, though we'll also be taking in the sites and just generally enjoying the convention, too. We'll be selling a few prints there, which I'm really excited about. Here are some previews.

The first one comes from Rosuuri, and is as amazing as always:



The second one is a guest piece from Doomfest. Originally it was simply going to be an entry in our guest art gallery, but we loved it so much that we chose to make some prints of it.

We'll have a few others, too, but those are still being developed.

Somewhat relatedly - I might be selling some Starlight Vega prints as well, though Razz and I haven't fully decided on that yet.

Regardless, I hope to see some of you guys there~

I am awful about remembering to update threads. So, we've made a lot of progress since our Kickstarter ended. Thanks to everyone who pledged or shared.

We'll be remaking our entire Act 1, based upon the feedback that we got from the initial release. While there are a number of goals we have in that regard, the main two are improving artistic consistency and also improving the pacing to be more engaging and less of a waifu slideshow.

Our sprite artist, Myuto, spent some time in the hyperbolic time chamber and leveled up immensely since his work on the demo. He's been working on touching up and improving the character designs, making them look more their age, as well as just more visually interesting.

You can see some of those results here. There are a couple other new designs, as well as a bit more information, on our latest blog post. I'm kinda cherry picking what gets included in this post for brevity's sake.

I love this game's story and concept! The characters are amazingly designed, and I don't just mean the gorgeous character sprites. Their personalities and backstories (or at least what I understand from their descriptions) are really well thought out and relate-able. I'll probably download the demo when I get a chance to, but I'm currently borrowing someone else's computer until I can get mine fixed.

I've said it before but it's still true: I'm really bad about keeping threads updated =( As evidenced by the fact that it's a week shy from being a year since I last posted here.

Well, uh, what to say... We've released another game since then, the short yuri KN "Highway Blossoms." And we're still plugging away at HRP.

Probably the most notable thing that we've announced since then is our opening theme, "REIGNITE." The music itself is composed and performed by Arte Refact, a Japanese music studio who've made music for Love Live, IDOLM@STER, and lots of other popular franchises. Vocals are by Sasaki Sayaka, who has sang songs for anime series like Nichijou, Planetarian, Girls und Panzer, and more.
