Thank you all for your interest in our game thus far! We'll be revealing the rest of the main characters over the span of the next four or five weeks. Once summer hits, we'll be working hard to make the demo available for download.

Initially I wasn't too interested in this game because I'm not typically into this type of genre. But I'm so glad I checked it out though because the main character is amazing! Yes to quiet, mystery novel-loving female MC! Wee!

What tone are you going for with the writing? It could go a few different ways so I'm just curious.

I'm so happy we managed to snag your interest despite the genre! Both rabbzy and I end up handling all sides of the project at some point, but as the one more focused on the writing stuff I'll take a stab at answering your question without giving too much away.

The game is very character driven. The first half or so of the game has a lighter, slice-of-life tone. The protagonist is settling into her new life, meeting interesting people, etc. There are definitely humorous moments, and I've taken great pains to make sure that happens due to the force of the character's personalities rather than the writing trying to hit you with the funny-bat. As the game progresses it becomes more psychological as you get a deeper look at whoever you've chosen to get close to, which can present some heavier situations that are not always easily solvable. The crux of the game is the main character moving past her bad home situation, part of which is recognizing that she can't fix people. I will warn ahead of time that there are a good number of "bad" ends.

Watch out for those no-good bicyclists, folks.

Today's update includes the last of the romanceable cast! We have a few secondary characters to reveal and we're working on getting our custom UI nice and pretty to show off. We have enough of the VN written for a demo, we'll just need to go through and edit it some for presentation's sake. Main character sprites are nearing completion. Next on our checklist for the first demo are backgrounds! Thanks for checking in on us; wish us luck!
