☼ Synopsis:

“Vanitee Sinclair is a popular college student known for both her beauty and brains. But like the saying goes, appearances can be deceiving. In reality, she is a sarcastic, judgmental, and an egoistic person who doesn’t care about anyone besides herself. One unfortunate day, in a moment of weakness, she is tempted to cheat on a test. All falls into chaos as she is caught by a classmate. What will she do now that her reputation of being perfect is in the brink of being revealed as nothing but a hoax?"

Fortune Cookie takes place at Fas Adamo University, a school known for only accepting the most talented and intelligent applicants. You will play as Vanitee Sinclair and make decisions for her throughout the whole game.

This game takes place centuries after Siren's Plea.

Notes:

• I am expecting to release the first demo sometime in July or August. Everything is done except for the art part.
• The sprites are not final that's why they're all inconsistent (I keep changing their outfits and poses! UGH).
• There will be two demos released. The purpose of the first one is to introduce the plot and characters. The final demo will have a longer route for the love interests and will have the phone chat feature (the first demo will have the phone chat in dialogue form). Art should be finalized around this time then. At the moment, all sprites are just drafts until I get the time to sit down and properly work on them.
• There will only be TWO LOVE INTERESTS, unlike my other project.

I'm really looking forward to the story, I like the plot a lot, and the characters so far, especially Vanitee
recently I read a webtoon that have a personality similar to Vanitee and she really played my emotions, it'll be interesting to see her character from a different viewpoint. Can't wait to play this one!

Same here! I was getting tired of always playing as a shy MC in otome games because I'm the outspoken type. It gets really grating when they react differently than I do so I'm hoping this will be a nice change of pace. Please look forward to it!

I mentioned on the dev blog and on my personal blog that Siren's Plea is on hiatus right now due to the writer taking a break and being busy in RL. But I'm in the process of looking for another writer so worry not c:

I hope you'll be able to find a good writer for Siren's Plea! Just don't give up on this game. It's one of the most beautiful and wonderful projects I've seen.

Update!
This project is still alive! Progress is just really, reaaaalllly slow. I made changes to the sprites so Vanitee, Louie, and Noah are going to have different sprites than the ones shown on the first post.
