About this game:

This is the HD remaster of a game released some years ago in the comiket by my circle. The new version is going to be fully translated in english and it will add some other new features:

- HD sized graphic
- adv style messages display
- 2 new routes with a lot of new endings, good and bad
- 1 new character
- polished CGs and a bunch of new event CGs
- some new BGM
- OP song and OP movie
- support for Mac OSX and Linux
- some changes to the existent scenario

The game will be released on Steam soon. Right now is still under development but a beta Demo is already available on Steam at the following URL:

Game description:

Nestled in the heart of Tokyo, the quaint little aquarium, Manten Aquarium.
Numerous urban legends have arisen from here.
On the night of the full moon the waters turn to blood and man faced fish lurk within.

Junior high school students Mayu and Himeno came to Manten Aquarium to investigate these urban legends.
In the beginning it was fun, but then.
They see a glimpse of Mayu’s missing littler sister, Mari.
The wheels of fate begin turning as they chase after Mari’s shadow.

--Before she realizes it, Mayu finds herself alone and lost in the crimson aquarium.

How to play
・Proceed through the story from Mayu’s point of view
・Make choices through the game and choose your fate.

While I'm sure you can't give too much away because it might lead to spoilers, can you give us any hints as to the level of romance in this title?

I remember the original DLsite entry having a yuri tag on it, and Sekai project also described it as a yuri game, but I didn't see much sign of that in the demo when I played it.

Definitely enjoying the updated graphics and ADV display over the original style.

Looking forward to the release!

Seems really neat. I love horror and an aquarium sounds like a really good setting for it ^^. I'm excited for when it comes out.

I think one of the lines in your screenshots should probably be gone over again though ':]. The one showing an example of a choice that's like; 'for me to get touch the floor'. I think 'get touch' should probably be changed.

Yeah, I know it always gets tagged as "yuri" but actually the story is focused mainly on the nightmare like experience of Mayumi, the protagonist.
I think that, since protagonist and main characters are girls, it "inspires" yuri and, if people will like the game and the illustrator agrees, a romance based "Sound of Drop ChuChu☆" its possible in the future lol
