From the Stars to the Throne
Because we need more English Princess Maker-style games

The day you began to head towards your destiny was the day a traitor attacked the king and queen. You managed to stall them long enough for the king and queen to get out alive, but you did not come out unscathed. You had lost your arm. Before you could even fully wrap your head around what had happened, you were forced into retirement, given a house in District A, handed a small raise in your salary, and sent on your way. Even with the new luxuries, you had no idea what to do with yourself anymore; serving the royal family had been your life since you were a teenager. You had sat on your porch that night to go over everything when you heard a soft, melodic hum from the forest. Unable to force yourself to believe it was nothing, you head out to find the source. Said source was Ynne, the mother goddess. After decades of the divide between the mortals and immortals growing, she needed help to bring them back together. To do this, she entrusted you with one of her daughters, believing that only a child who knew both the world of man and of god could ever possibly mend the gap.
