From the Stars to the Throne
Because we need more English Princess Maker-style games
Image
The day you began to head towards your destiny was the day a traitor attacked the king and queen. You managed to stall them long enough for the king and queen to get out alive, but you did not come out unscathed. You had lost your arm. Before you could even fully wrap your head around what had happened, you were forced into retirement, given a house in District A, handed a small raise in your salary, and sent on your way. Even with the new luxuries, you had no idea what to do with yourself anymore; serving the royal family had been your life since you were a teenager. You had sat on your porch that night to go over everything when you heard a soft, melodic hum from the forest. Unable to force yourself to believe it was nothing, you head out to find the source. Said source was Ynne, the mother goddess. After decades of the divide between the mortals and immortals growing, she needed help to bring them back together. To do this, she entrusted you with one of her daughters, believing that only a child who knew both the world of man and of god could ever possibly mend the gap.
Main Characters
You (Alexander/Alexandria Blackwell) -nameable-

Daughter-nameable-
Image
Romanceable Girls
Princess Beatrice of Gadleigh
The king and queen's proud and (usually) elegant daughter. She distrusts her father and anyone she's not familiar with. She can been seen in the parades at festivals, but will sometimes join in the dance competition as well.
Image
Emera Savre
Loud and rambunctious, Emera is your daughter's rival in the fighting competition. She's a dragon, but out of honor only fights in her humanoid form as it is not as strong.
Image
Lenore Gelden
The quiet girl from the far off Honae Kingdom. Her mother and her run the local flower shop, and she can often be found at the art competition.
Image
Romanceable Boys
Prince Oris of Lenra
Oris is either oblivious to or outright ignores the tensions between Lenra and Galeigh, and often vacations next door to you.
Image
Aoran Cabern
The seemingly always polite and cheerful Aoran will often challenge your daughter to cooking competitions and is her cooking rival during festivals. His family runs the local morgue, so he doesn't seem to have many friends but that doesn't stop his pleasant demeanor.
Image
Issac Lout
A strange boy who wears Band-Aids because he thinks they look neat. If he sees any one in trouble, he doesn't stop to think; he just helps in whatever way he sees fit which often causes more problems as his ideas aren't always the best. He often likes to pretend he's a superhero or a cat, and loves 'what if?' questions.

Just some random stuff about the world the game takes place in.
Before the Gods/Goddesses left, technology had advanced extremely quickly and as a result everything relies on Auctoria stones. After they left, the world had no way to recharge the stones (as this was done at a temple or shrine to Reil, the god who had created them). It will be possible to find/buy/hoard them and doing so will help towards the entrepreneur ending. You will also be able to find a new alternate power source which will in general just help the kingdom and make traveling cost less. Another possibility is that you will be able to appease Reil, and he will go back to recharging them. This will be mandatory for both the Priestess ending and the Ruling Queen ending.

Also should I add a like servant/maid/butler type character like Cube from the original games or Twilight from Prince Maker - Braveness? The in-game explanation could be that they were sent to work with the player's character until they were used to doing things with only one arm, and if they don't have a high enough relationship stat they'll leave when you enter year 2 or 3. So should I?

I know the artwork isn't that good, but I'm either going to re-do it when I feel like my art has improved enough or if I'm able to save up enough money, pay an artist to do it. It depends on how long it takes me to do everything else. I don't want to bring anyone else on until the game is a little more...concrete.

Oh, my, a raising sim! I love this kind of games!

I like the variety of characters, and the romance options. The story reminds me of "Princess Maker 2", as you mentioned. If you think adding a servant, maid or butler, if it is relevant, do it. Or add it and make it look like they are important, but then it is not, or they open a door to extras, or a crack ending, etc. It is your chioce.

Do not stress about the art: a novel may have a eye-catching cover, but if the content is no good, it is an empty story. And so far, I like the story, so go, Wolfy Girl, go.
