I would love to give suggestions on what to do, but I'm currently facing the same problems xD
Perhaps offer a copy of the game + any possible bonuses for it? Offer trades?

If you don't think you can fit it into the story, then it's probably best not to. Strong story should probably the priority on a KN-- you only have one story, after all.

I thought about making comics instead of inserting it as an extra in the game, but I've never had luck when it comes to comics (orz.....) Even though having it in VN format means making up more assets and sprites, it seems like a lighter load than having to redraw each character and background while still having consistently good composition. But ehhhh, I'll solve that problem once I get there, I guess.

And yep, I was thinking of just that. I slipped in a condensed version of one of the things I wanted to do more with, but only because it was pretty relevant to the plot line. I'm really hoping to have the chance to go waaay more in detail with it though for a lot of reasons.

Update 4/10/16

- Skeeetches!
- -> Added color to last week’s update image.
- -> I drew a hyped Benno.
- -> Sketches of minor characters/possible cg.
- -> This week’s update image is supposed to preview how I settled the sprites may be in terms of coloring? I wanna say it also previews how the CGs would be, but there’s not a lot to it lol.
- Sprite progress!
- -> The sketches for the main batch are completed!
- It feels really weird not updating my progress on the writing.
- Even so, I did make some progress on editing the writing!
- I’m currently at the beginning of Act 2, but I realized that there are some things that I haven’t fixed for Act 1.

Update 4/17/16

- I am so swamped this week until the second week of May, it isn’t even funny.
- But like that’s gonna stop me from making any progress at all!!
- As always, sketches first!
- -> this sketch dump was… really weird. like, super weird.
- - -> I just wanted to doodle Benno with some facial hair, practice drawing animals, and have Queen Alethea flexing but it just took a really weird turn after that.
- - -> Aside from what I initially listed, every thing else in there is not really official and is a product of me waking up really early and doodling to an airhorn cover of Moonlight Sonata.
- - -> Wow I really need to work on CGs, though am I right
- -> Lazarus trying to raise smol Otto
-> This week’s update art is just more of me drawing Lazarus and Otto together.
- -> After doing the sketch above, I realized that there are so many things that I want to explore for all of the characters that I couldn’t because of plot constraints.
- -> Lazarus did his best, okay (puts face in hands) so many things I want to splurge on but I don’t know if I want to make a big thing about it or not, I mean I know that I do, but I really wanna finish this first you know
- -> Anyway, I also realized that I have to edit so much of the script with how much I’ve changed things.
- Sketches for the major characters are done!
- -> Next step is making the line art for all of them, then coloring.
- Character profiles created.
- Minor character sprites are probably not going to be a thing. It may be when I have more time to sketch them.
- -> Editing has not progressed that much, unfortunately.
- I really wanted to finish the sketches.
- -> That and I had to focus on school work too…
- -> I just know that I have to revamp/fix/add a lot of things so hoo boy, writing is far from over.
- I did splurge a lot on Queen Alethea and King Gerald.
- -> Like their history together.
- -> And their relationship with their son’s friends.
- -> It’s all spoiler free!
- Like I said, I’m going to be super busy with school for the next month, but hopefully I’ll still come up with updates.
- -> After this week or next week, I may have more progression with the art because my portfolio should be done.

Funny that you mentioned Princess Tutu, because after I binge watched it last summer, I wanted to revive this project and I've been thinking about rewatching it while working on this lol. Like Princess Tutu, I've made heaaavy revamps from the source material, but I hope ya'll will like it anyway :^)

Update 4/24/16

- There are… no sketches this week, unfortunately.
- GUI updated + New preview image for the game
- Outlines for Otto’s sprites are finished.
- I played around with the coding to see how it would look so far!

- -> It’s kind low quality, unfortunately. Livestream isn’t really the best for screen capturing, but it’s what I’ve got.
- No progress in script editing so far this week.

Sorry for the lack of updates, I’ve been really busy this week trying to finish my portfolio for my AP Drawing class @___@ It has been Hectic, to say the least.

Update 5/1/16

- This week’s update art is a wip of the album art!
- -> Check out the initial sketch.
- -> I’ll clean it up when I’m not drowning in work, so maybe by the 15th? Or just any day after the 11th.
- -> Complete version of album art will be up once I clean it up.
- Sketch of tired Siegfried.
- Playlist of the soundtrack has been pulled together!
- -> Post w/ WIP album art, spotify link, and sources.
- -> Tracks may be added/subtracted over time.
- Sprite progress has been stagnant and so has script editing, unfortunately.
- But, I did make a spreadsheet of my to do list, so if you wanna go check out my workload/progress periodically, here you go!
- -> I had a lot of fun naming the CGs lol.
- -> There are supposed to be two sheets available for viewing, please tell me if you can’t see the second one.
- -> (I mean I could just put them in one sheet, but it doesn’t look as neat ???)
- Another busy week of school, so that means minimalist update again, lol.
- Next update will be small too, since I still have testing going on and I have school projects to pull together.
- Maybe the May 15th update will have more stuff.
- Next week’s update may be earlier because I’ll be out of town and I don’t know when I’ll be available to make an update. It may be later? I’m not sure yet.

Update 5/8/16

- Sadly, I have nothing to update on. Still, I feel the need to make a post anyway. Because routine that’s why.
- Anyway, explanation for not having anything done this week:
- -> IT’S AP TESTING WEEK 1 YA’LL
- - -> I mean, I only had one (APUSH) but I also had a project for school due on the same day, so I spent the whole week working on it.
- - -> Like, our teacher gave us the whole quarter, but I was busy finishing my stuff up for AP Drawing.
- - -> But that’s outta the way!
- I couldn’t do anything over the weekend because I went to my sister’s graduation.
- - -> Like this is the first real free time I’ve had
- - -> and I currently need to go back to doing my hw that’s due on Mon/Tues lol (I scheduled this post lol)
- I should have something for next week since my next and last test is on Wednesday.
- I’m so sorry for this aaaaaaaaaaaaa

- My goodness, testing has really sucked some of my life out of me.
- Anyway, this week’s update art!
- -> Concept art ??? Possible CG ??? Probably not.
- -> I just wanted to play around with the lighting.
- Few sketches this week.
- Started to make some progress on the clean up for the album art!
- Nothing new with the sprites yet.
- Or editing.
- I did write a self-indulgent thing, but spoilers, unfortunately

Update 5/22/16

- I feel like I’m getting my life back because hoo, so much progress this week, imo!!
- First things first, the update art. I really wanna talk about the update art.
- -> I’m not sure whether or not to make this into a CG but
- -> Basically, Otto’s telling Siegfried to stop being a chismoso.
- -> Chismoso = gossiper, but I think it can also translate to busybody or just a nosy person
- -> This happens immediately after they meet lol
- I’ve made some changes regarding the character’s background info!
- -> Continued here.
- -> The changes are subtle in the character design but I really hope I do right by it @___@
- -> I have to go back and edit more of the script now, but I don’t mind.
- I did a lot of sketches/concept art for the backgrounds!
- -> Occiden - Throne Room
- -> Occiden - Market
- -> Forest - Side Road 3
- -> Forest - Clearing
- Stream art!
- -> I made a lot of progress during the stream!
- -> I did the main line art for 3 sprites and did 3 more BGs
- - -> Siegfried, Benno, Wolfgang

- -> Streams are every Saturday at 8 PM EST! I plan to have them run until midnight, if I can.

- -> I realized yesterday that the demo doesn’t have much BL material in it compared to the rest of the game, but I hope that’s alright since the full version is supposed to include that?

- -> I’ll be prioritizing the material that’ll be in the demo.
- - -> Basically, if it doesn’t appear in Act 1, I won’t be as attentive to it? But I’ll still work on it anyway?

I'm a bit upset that I didn't catch this thread till now DX. But I'm glad I did =D. This looks very interesting and since I love fantasy it attracted me real quick =D. To make it even better it's a BxB game, which is something I love. Another thing I really like is the art. It's a very nice style =). It's cool to see this game is in good progress. I wish you the best of luck and will play it when it comes out =).
