Playing Story of Seasons for research purpose uhuhuh not procrastinating at all.
UPDATE: Nailed down four events out of eight so far! Will work on the rest later and add more events ; )

Ahh this looks so cute! I'm so on board for a protagonist with customizable pronouns!
The sprite style looks great, and looks like it'd go really nicely with the general aesthetics of the UI as well!
I'm also really about those baby chicks on the main menu haha... Too cute.

Congrats on finishing Artin's sprite!!! They're so cute oh my gosh! I love their pants. The coloring style definitely suits the GUI and gosh I just want to pinch Artin's precious face.

Lani's art is really great! :0 and they are, aren't they?Considering Maccha's customisation, huhuhuh, maybe they will be taller or bigger than Artin. :0 We'll see !!

Pretty interesting! This doesn't feel like a VN tho! Will I really get to farm and cook? Like minigames?? WILL I SEDUCE HIM WITH MY FOOD?! Omg!

Side Comment: I just finished my degree in videogame developement, and I'm really good at finding loopholes in story, character and design, and also providing solutions. I'm like a beta tester but for design instead of mechanics, haha.

I finished the sketch for all the characters! (If I have time, I'll try to draw out another character ehuehue.) Here's Maccha's gran and Maccha for now - Maccha will be customizable in this game, starting from height! I would have loved to add more body types in, but time restraints ;v; For now you can be Tall Maccha or Short Maccha, at least.

WEEK ONE: Round up for me. With the script hitting 14.5k words, the opening pre-gameplay and five romance events finished. Bare draft, I'm working on two final events this week and adding more common events.

OPENING 3k words. Might cut down after final edits.
ROMANCE EVENTS: Six out of eight. 8k words. Might add more after final edits.
COMMIN EVENTS: 3.5k words. Will add more after final edits.

Maccha's appearance customization has 3 skin tones, 2 body types, 4 hairstyles for each body type, 4 hair colours and 4 eyecolours! (orz this meant that i had to make granny have 3 skintones and 4 eyecolours too.....)

Iee thanks everyone! >w< I don't have internet at home so I can only really give a big barrage of updates every weekend, ahah ;;

I'm making headway on the backgrounds! I've sketched all of them and started to paint the first one:




I'll hopefully finish these by the week, and then I'll be able to do the overworld sprites and the misc objects - who doesn't want cute pictures of food?! - in the remaining time! Who knows, maybe I'll get the time to do a CG or two!

Long story short, I have some issues with the script due to circumstances, I'm trying to recover everything on my day off and put on my ten-thousand-a-day mode. Pray for me to survive this :0 There's still the stat-raising menu left but so far, these are the pending designs for the GUI. Tell me what you think!




Now, I'm going to cry into my pillows and continue with the script, punch me C: the design still hurt my eyes tbh
