Sophia is a normal girl, working a mediocre retail job.
On a normal day, like any other, she, alongside six of her co-workers, finds herself thrown out of the normal life she knew and into a world of full of magic and demons intent on hunting her down.

Resurface will be a visual novel with elements of fantasy.
There are four romance-able characters and four befriend-able characters.
There are 25 different endings: 16 bad, 8 good and 1 secret.

Why do all of these characters end up in a different world? Did someone choose to teleport all of them? Did they all end up in a device that transported them?

How much do the characters want to go home? Do some (or all) of them want to remain in the alternate world?

I think that you meant to name the place *Ethereal* rather than Etherial. Also, I think you were referring to a plane of existence, unless the location happens to be a plain.

There are a number of untranslated girl x boy visual novels. However, there are almost none in English. If you choose to create a story that includes (optional) explicit sex scenes, then I think you will find an audience that's interested in your content.

The reason they are there and the method by which they arrived is the main focus of at least the first half of the story. In essence, the currently ruler is looking for a couple of the main characters, who are originally from the Etherial Plain, who fled for their own safety. When they were located everything around them was teleported and that included some people.

It varies, obviously. For the most part they want to go home, and on the road to achieving that goal, they discover it may not be possible. They spend a fair bit of time dealing with that.

I did originally name it the Ethereal Plane, but the idea of what the place was developed over time and it became a more substantial place. The characters mostly refer to it as "Etherial" which is why I choose that spelling, because it seems more namey... I dunno if that really makes sense.
So, it is a plain, an endless plain. There is a lot of magic stuff that goes on for people to live there.

I was a little hesitant about how it will be received, but that honestly makes me feel a little less nervous. Heh...

The bad ends are pretty much murder ends (possibly rape). Not every end is gonna be super fleshed out, like a conclusive end. I just want to use them as a way to show more of the culture of the demons and also flesh out more back story. So it will be things that add to the story, but aren't essential for understanding the good ends.
