Started for Yaoi Jam 2016.

SYNOPSIS

Vit Oreo is an average guy attending college. He's earnest, kind, and friendly, except for the times when he's self-centered and insensitive. But he tries, which is better than nothing.
One normal day, his best friend, Eric, goes missing completely out of the blue. Police investigation yields nothing-- it's as if Eric simply disappeared into thin air. Vit, of course, is devastated at the loss of his closest pal. What's a guy to do?

Take a stress swim in your pool and touch the bottom, only to come up in a different reality.

CHARACTERS

Vit Oreo (18)
An air-headed asshole with good intentions. Best buds with Eric, who he met when he started college. It was like love at first sight! Platonically. (Don't worry, he'll realize soon enough). Do your best to lead him down a good path!

Eric Crawford (19)
Introverted and non-confrontational, but has a confident streak. He loves his friends and still has an active Neopets account. Thinks Vit is a good guy.

Marie Mackenzie (18)
A normal, girl-next-door type. Has a crush on Vit.

Priya (18?)
Her dream is to have a robot fortune-telling booth made based off of her likeness. Friends with Marie & Eric.

Kiara Oreo (12)
Vit's little sister. She "ships" Vit and Marie, which is only left alone because she's 12.

1. Does the synopsis interest you?
It sounds super interesting! I'm curious to see what's in store for Vit when he's in the other world.

2. Favorite character?
I can't say at the moment, since there's only little said about them, but they sound interesting and I would love to see how they'll be played out.

3. Thoughts on the art?
It looks super cute!!

4. What other information do you want to know?
BACKSTORIES. I'm a sucker for backstories.

5. Would you play the game when it's complete?
Sure!! I'm hoping to play as many games as I can from YaoiJam before school starts for me, so I'm hyped.

YES! Oh man, I can't wait to play this! I love the falling into another world trope orz but it also sounds SO SAD and I'm already invested in how things work out... ;w;;

2. Favorite character?
Oooh my gosh they are all so cute! I like Priya a lot (I support her dream 100%) but everyone is too adorable and I can't decide

- Plot/choices are 100% outlined
- First draft is at about 20% completion
- Sprites (again, drawn by peachtartprince @twitter, go check em out) are 80% done.
- 2/6 BGs sketched out

Yooo so, the deadline for Yaoi Jam was on Sunday, and I'm not done.

Progress update:
Outline: 100%
Script: 60%
Sprites: 90%
GUI: 50%
BGs: 20%
Music: 0%

Realistically, I can see myself finishing within 3-4 weeks more? That's a vague estimate, though. But I will definitely finish!

It's cute, and the story plot is very nice, I want to see it finished! And I bet I'm not alone in this

Wow, it's been a looong while. I'm back to working on this! I super overestimated my own script last year, I'm probably like 30% done at most, not 60%. But I'm writing, and it's going well. I really can't wait for when I can finally finish & release this.

Thanks so much to all who've shown their enthusiasm for this project even when it was on hiatus!!

I hope you'll finish this one day, because never have I before slammed my money on the floor so hard for the characters. YES PLEASE.
Also, Vit Oreo. your name is something I am envious of.
Oh wait, I got distracted. I'm REALLY curious to what extent Vit is going to "find" Eric, because that sounds like it'll go to the deepest and worst parts of humanity and I hope that future me writes a fic for this VN once it's out and I've played it because that premise is. So. Good.
