Re: Ouroboros [Dragon Age Fan Game]
Yesss! I feel obligated to comment on this because... well, Dragon Age. ;P
Let me start by complimenting the sample artwork. Even though it is not finalized, your samples are extremely high-quality, and fit very well with the Dragon Age setting. I am also a huge fan of adventure and mystery, so you've definitely got my attention.
Have you played any of the Dragon Age games? If yes, which ones? Are you familiar with Corypheus and The Architect?
I've played DAO multiple times, DA2 a few times, and have made it about halfway through DAI. I am very familiar with The Architect, but unfamiliar with Corypheus.
Does the story look interesting?
The story looks great! I have always been extremely interested in Tevinter, so I look forward to seeing how you approach the notorious Imperium.
Any other thoughts?
I am very intrigued by your idea to give the player character an origin, following the approach of DAO and DAI. I don't believe I have ever played a VN with multiple player character origins, aside from gender selection. It seems an arduous task, but definitely interesting.
Good luck! I look forward to seeing how Ouroboros progresses, and hopefully getting to play it in the future.
Cheers!

Re: Ouroboros [Dragon Age Fan Game]
I must confess, I'm a BioWare fangirl and Dragon Age is the reason I've decided to get into video game writing. That being said, I'm really excited for this (:
Questions:
Have you played any of the Dragon Age games? If yes, which ones? Are you familiar with Corypheus and The Architect?
Yep, all three. I'm currently starting DAO over ;D I know about Corypheus, but I never got any DLCs for the games besides Trespasser so my knowledge o anything not in the main games explicitly is limited.
Does the story look interesting?
Yes! I've already bookmarked this.
Any other thoughts?
The origins was my fave part about DAO so that is a huge plus for me. I noticed that you said you want to write in a way that will incorporate new fans to the series. Dragon Age has a lot of lore so I think this will be difficult. It's okay to market to a niche audience though especially since it is a fan game. But I'm intrigued to see where you take this and how you go about including a broader audience. PS: Fantastic art!

Re: Ouroboros [Dragon Age Fan Game]
I'm curious but also slightly dubious, since this is such a lore-heavy setting, with so many mysteries still to be revealed, it can be a little awkward presenting any 'answers' to questions which are likely to be overhauled in a few years when they give us our Tevinter game.
I might find it useful to have some footnotes to suggest what's known canon, what's extrapolating from hints and references, and what's completely invented.
I've played Origins, DA2 (but not the DLCs, though I know what happened in them), and Inquisition (but not The Descent, which I hear has major lore implications that I don't quite understand yet). I never played Awakening so I know the Architect only by reputation.
Art looks promising so far.

Re: Ouroboros [Dragon Age Fan Game]
Oh man, a DA fan game. You can take my soul if you'd like, because this is all I've ever wanted.
To answer your questions: I've played all three DA games, but I haven't been able to get through Witch Hunt or Awakenings, though I do know the Architect from what I've read online and through watching videos. I really like both Corypheus and he so I'm interested to see what you do with them and the lore surrounding ancient Tevinter! The story that you've presented thus far is solid, and I can't wait to see where it leads.
