STORY
Anno has a pretty bad reputation in the small wasteland of a town of Reveille where he lives, but there's more to him than the rude troublemaker everyone sees.
If only his neighbors knew how many times he's actually saved their lives. If only they knew about the parallel world, Dormir, that Anno visits in his dreams.
There he's a hero, fighting monsters to keep an evil force known as the Darkness from reaching Reveille. But saving the world is hardly routine, especially not
when monsters from Dormir start showing up in the waking world at the same time as a mysterious stranger appears in town...

I love this! I think the art looks super cool (I like Alle's jacket, wish I could buy one like it haha) and the story sounds very interesting! I'll be looking forward to more updates from you on this. It's definitely a game that I'd like to play Good luck!

I really like the story and the characters and the art is gorgeous. Just one little thing... I don't know if you were aware but the main character's name, "Ano", means "Anus" in spanish and I can't stop laughing every time I read it

ooh my god.... orz;;;;;
his name was actually a joke to begin with; i named him after the japanese filler word ("ano" being like "um") as a kind of inside joke about how bad i am at coming up with names
but that is... a totally different level... ;w;;;; maybe i should change it.....

I already did this background before (& sketches for all of them) but then I decided I didn't like that style.
Anyway! This time I'm gonna stick with this one~! (◞ ˃人˂)◞*✰ (I mean... we can only hope......)

I've changed my plans for the backgrounds so many times but... I'm still not really sure I like these ones... ;w;;
If anyone has any advice, I'd really appreciate it!

As for the schedule... Yaoi Jam is ending soon and there's still so much to do. ;;
This month has been pretty crazy and I came down with a really bad cold the other day so I'm mostly spending my time sleeping lately.
Hopefully FDS will be done by the end of August, but sometime in September is prolly more realistic.

I changed my mind about how I'm doing the backgrounds. Now I like them a lot more, plus they're way faster to draw. ;w;
My idea was that the backgrounds would be different stylistically from the characters to separate them (like in WKTD) but that didn't really work out...
This time I'm going to use a more muted palette to hopefully make that happen. I haven't colored them yet so this is just a sample.
(7/25 are drawn now)



Otherwise... I'm waffling again about making it 18+ so I took that part off the title for now... orz;; We'll see what happens ig... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I've been taking kind of a break, since mental illness stuff has been hitting me hard lately. orz;
Since I expected to be more done by now this will be more of a casual project now. ;w; I'm going to focus more on Blackout City (my webcomic) over August, or at least until I'm feeling better.

On the other hand, the backgrounds don't need to much more work once I get back to them so everything's gonna be fine~ :'DDD
(haha sorry this was a terrible update but I will post more background samples in the near future~ Thank you for following FDS's development~ ♡

I've recently started reading your webcomic actually, I really like it so far but it looks like there's a lot I have to catch up on lmao

Update!

I'm sorry ;w; My health hasn't improved... But I've been making some progress (somehow!).
The script is about halfway finished now, and I'm done all the backgrounds.
All I have to show off now is the bg thumbnails before they were colored & another screen sample. (Edit: Actually a lot of them were just sketches at that point. haha...)
I'm still not sure about the colors for the backgrounds & I need to work on the GUI ;w;
(and go to the doctor haha.......)




A September release is still looking good so stay tuned~ :v

The one with Lem and Lili, I made in Photoshop. This is what I'm aiming for~!
The one with Alle is where I'm at so far. I think it's going pretty well so far. :'D

Update!
★ Script is 99% done! Editing is 99% done!
★ Currently the script is at ~60k words.
★ The game will have sex scenes, but you can skip past them at any point.
★ (Those are like, 80% written and still need to be edited.)
★ It turns out there are a few more backgrounds I need to draw now... ;w;;
★ Compiling SFX and background music is done!
★ Starting work on expressions now~!

Overall I'm really excited! It's all coming together!
