Synopsis
Once upon a time, a long, long time ago, there was a traveller...
Our protagonist, a mysterious traveller, wanders the far-off land of Desservir searching for patrons to buy their wares.
Upon hearing about a large annual market in the village of Castella, the traveller decides to set up a stall and try their luck.
Life, however, is not so easy.
After being double-crossed by a goblin and left in the middle of the cold, wet moors to die, the traveller almost gives up hope.
That is, until they stumble upon a mysterious church in the middle of nowhere, and meet the two nuns who attend to it.
What are these two nuns doing on their own, and why is there such a melancholy atmosphere in the air?
The traveller has only one windswept night to uncover these mysteries and learn the truth.
Characters
The traveller
The protagonist. An enigmatic figure who refuses to remove their cloak, under any circumstance.
Their name, age, and gender is unknown.
They make a living as a travelling salesperson, but the actual items they sell are rather suspect.
Madeleine
One of the nuns who works at the church.
Madeleine is a cheerful person who pushes herself hard, rarely allowing herself to take breaks.
She happily gives everything she has to help those less fortunate than herself.
If she wants to help somebody, she will help them, come Hell or high water. They don't have a choice.
She acts quite prim and proper, but has a somewhat sadistic sense of humour and likes to tease people - namely, Daffodil.
Daffodil
The other nun who works at the church.
Daffodil is huffy and has quite the temper. She often insults people and is very mistrustful.
She loves Madeleine to a fault, and can be over-protective. She thinks Madeleine is too trusting, and devotes herself to protecting her.
Despite being a nun, she's very scornful of religion in general, and refuses to believe in anything she can't see with her own eyes.

Since it's a yurijam VN, it focuses on yuri (GxG) relationships.

Finding out the MC's identity is part of the mystery, yes u///u

This sounds awesome! The art is stunning.
Love the idea for the MC, and am looking forward to unraveling the mystery about their identity

Yes, melow's art is super adorable! I wanted to work with her for a while o:
The mystery of who the MC is is just one aspect of the story... It ended up being really convoluted haha XD;;

So glad to see that you're making another GxG VN, ebi-hime! I've really enjoyed your previous works, both your free games and your commercial GxG VNs "Asphyxia" and "Strawberry Vinegar" (Really glad to have picked up the latter at a recent Steam sale. The food illustrations are so pretty they blind my eyes, haha). Can't wait to play this game when it is released. I'm especially interested in Daffodil's character - looking forward to seeing how she can be scornful of religion and keep up her job as a nun all at the same time.

The artstyle looks very cute, I wonder if it's actually a trap and it's going to end with blood or something...
I've heard that the story was going to include meta elements and I'm a sucker fro this kind of stuff so I'm very intrigued!
Daffodil is such a weird name though

The writing style is pretty simple (especially compared to something like Asphyxia) but the actual structure of the story is a bit strange...
I hope people like it u_u
I like Daffodil a lot but I gave a build of the game to my composer and he wasn't a fan haha XD;

Well, playing Chorontopia's demo inspired me to add more meta-ness to it.
There was already a dash of meta in the beginning, but I amped it up when revising because it was fun...
Actually, the framing device is kind of similar to Chorontopia's @@ I think it's executed differently though.
I wanted to make a cute tsundere chara called Daffodil for a really long time... It seemed like a good opportunity >_>

And just bumping to say I updated some of the info u_u
I managed to get a composer at the last minute to make a few original tracks for the VN (thank you yuzu ;-;) and I posted an image of one of the CGs.
The character featured is Lycoris, but acts as the narrator of the story and...
Saying anything else would be a spoiler u_u

It’s okay, it’s not like I came up with that concept anyway XD.
The beauty of writing is that the same idea can be executed in many different ways depending on the author so I have no doubt that you found your own personal one

I really suck at giving names to my characters so I can’t really say anything here
. Plus Daffodil does sound funny and suits a tsundere quite well!
