We are still working hard on polishing game mechanics, dialogue, and drawing sprites and CGs. I've updated the first post with our progress, and here's a new sprite of another kid from the game... :-D

My Father did grow up on a tobacco farm, and always had to help with the harvest. They also frequently had issues with pests called Manduca sexta, AKA tobacco hornworm... he and his brothers would gather up as many as they could find, and stick them under the wheels of the conveyor belt that was used for for pressing the tobacco leaves, squashing them like flatbread. Given my previous answer of ignorance, I thought maybe I should share that story, but whether it's helpful or not, I cannot know. :P

P.S, ahh your art is so gorgeous! I'm a writer, though, unfortunately, not an artist. I wish I could help with that. :(

Ohhh yes, I think those are similar to tomato hornworms, which we hunted as a kid in our small backyard garden. Squash bugs and a new alien pest, turtle snails, also make an appearance! :-)
