17/01/17 - Updated Selene and Ronan's profiles to include their second outfits. Added early sketch of Otto. Removed information about houses while I revamp.
22/01/17 - City of Wilder wide view completed.
18/02/17 - Otto's flat colours completed
23/02/17 - Chibi Otto, Leon and Jolene preview. Slight logo correction. New profile images (removed outfit preview, added house symbols and corrected some spelling errors). New progress tracker.
04/03/17 - Completed chibis.
14/04/17 - Castle background variations update.
24/06/17 - Word count: 18, 853. All main cast sprites, first outfit, first pose complete.
16/07/17 - All first sprite, first pose complete.
10/10/17 - All first sprite, two outfits complete.
09/11/17 - Six backgrounds completed. Common route in editing.

Just a quick update to include the last two designs for Selene and Ronan in their profile above, and also this screenshot of the WIP of Otto (Octavius), the first of the romanceable characters.



With the launch of production for Selfish we’ve decided to make a new patron reward. Contribute any amount, even $1, for twelve months or more to get every one of our games for free on release!

1. What do you think about the story / characters so far?
There's not really anything about the story that particularly stands out to me - seems like a fairly standard political intrigue thing going on - but I love fantasy and I enjoy intrigue, so I won't complain. The characters seem to have an interesting and tangled web of relationships between them.

2. Who is your favorite character at the moment?
There's not an awful lot of info yet, but probably Kamilla.

Thank you! It honestly has been one of my favourites to work on and I'm really happy with how it's turning out!

Hello friends!
Due to working on two projects at varying paces we’ve decided to start doing more regular updates just to keep everyone abreast of what we’re doing.

I am working on fleshing out the plot of Selfish while we are recruiting for additional writers, which I should hopefully have decided on tomorrow or the day after. We are still recruiting for composers and writers so if you’re interested check out this post for more information (viewtopic.php?f=60&t=42144). Our most recent addition to the team is Iwako! There isn’t currently anything to edit though, so she’s just hanging around as moral support, haha. Alvissa, our sprite artist, is currently working on the sprite for Otto. Hopefully it will be finished in the next week or two. Now that the town view is finished ReFiend’s just waiting on me to provide the list of needed backgrounds (could be a while, but he has the patience of a saint)

We’ve finished a round of hiring and would like to welcome a new member: Banana one of our secondary writers! Over the weekend the outline for the plot has been more solidified, and next weekend work will begin in earnest on the writing =)

On the art side of things we’re going to finish the outline soon so deciding on the final CG and BG list will happen shortly after.

The same goes for music, I will be deciding on the composer tonight, so look forward to the announcement next week!

Hello again!

Little late with the update this week (my birthday is on Thursday and everyone wants a piece of this, LOL).

We now have a full team, including our composer and final writer, both of which I updated in the top post. This means our common route is completely outlined and we've started writing over the weekend! Alvissa believes she can have Otto's sprite finished before the weekend, so look forward to that!

Now that everything is moving forward it's starting to get exciting!

Also, shameless promo of Patreon. We are still letting anyone who supports us for twelve months, even at $1, get all our future commercial games for free, including Selfish. This is the last month to get in on this!
