A world where people with grave sin in their heart can turn into demons.
What would the future of such a world look like? Will demons with their inhumane powers be the future rulers of this world? Is there a way for humanity to stop them?
Or will they both put their hatred aside to form a brighter future?

This story follows Kyo Nakahara, who has been working in the shadows for a faction that fights for equality between humans and demons. After spending his whole life as an assassin, we get to witness how he gets discharged so his allies can continue their work without ties to someone with blood on their hands like him. Now he has to learn to live in a society filled with people he used to fight against.

Withered Blade is an action romance Visual Novel and our first big project as “Petit Pinion”.
The game has been in development for years, starting as a small side project we’d only work on in our free time. Now it has reached a stage where we are confident in it and plan on getting serious.
Currently about 50% of the art is done. The script is still being worked on and about 30-40% finished. That being said, the first act of the game stands fairly good on its own and we feel it is in a very presentable state. That's why we'd like to get it out there now to see what people might think.
This is our first time really trying to make a good game, so we want to make sure we're on the right path. That's why we're actively looking for opinions. We really hope you provide feedback in this topic.
