WE'D LIKE TO TALK TO IJUUIN YOSHIKA is an upcoming visual novel that is the prequel to the Gokan Series Project.

STORY:

It's Golden Week in Japan on the year 2008, and Ijuuin Yoshika receives a phone call from her aunt Yasuna, who is in a London hospital, ready to give birth to her second child. It's a babysitting task: 'is it alright if you can look after my daughter, Takako?' she asks, and before Yoshika can even think of saying no, her mouth automatically blurts out a 'yes.'

Cue 10-year-old Takako, cheerily entering a very smelly, downtrodden and beer-smelling apartment, ever-ready to spend time with her older cousin for the entirety of Golden Week. Yoshika has obviously never babysitted before, and all she's good for is delaying her payment of the rent and getting drunk, but with Takako staying under her roof, will she be able to look after the young girl properly? And at the same time, can she protect the girl from the ghosts of her own past?
